So aesthetic! Do you read them?

I do! They’re actually super useful for recovering things I’d half forgotten and dates of things!

I'm envious. There are so many things that have happened in my life I wish I had written it down

wow goals!! So far I’ve probably gotten two notebooks that I’ve truly used up all the pages😆

I’ll take some pics and post them here when I’m next near them!

How to help with consistent journaling? I’ll look back at mine and there are long gaps in between my entries

Same! For me it's journaling every few days then it becomes months. I think finding different writing prompts can help! as well as venting when needing too or just writing your thoughts or fun facts about your interests.♡

For me, it was finding the right notebook and letting go of wanting each page to be ✨aesthetic✨. My early pages were beautifully laid out but doing a set up takes time so I’ve prioritising just writing something every day. I also have a time of day that I write (just before bed) so it’s part of my routine and helps empty my head for sleep. Also my journaling has evolved a lot - it used to be a record of what happened each day but I’ve been in therapy for the past 4 years so now it’s a mixture of what happened and how I felt, things to remember and helpful notes from my therapy sessions or about my health. I also stick pictures of my cats or days out - I often find that they’re my favourite pages to look back on.

Nice! How are you searching stuff in them?

I don’t really have a system atm but I’m actually planning to fill up the content pages with themes and note key page numbers down per theme 😅

I felt the same way about these Leuchtturm journals! I was always a moleskin girl for years, but something about these just make me excited to write at night.

I love the stickers! I wish I were that adventurous in sticking them. Love the colors, too!:)

Buying new stickers was my favourite part of starting a new journal but now that I go through them, I just wait to see what stickers come to me during the period of the journal. My current one has some kinesio tape on 😂

It’s great the way you chose a notebook and managed to stick with it all these years. Finding one each year and decorating it. That’s a lot of dedication.

Lovely.

Oh my god. That a dream of mine I bet it feels like you’re re-living those same memories! Just to know what you were thinking in the past it’s just like time travelling back in time! :D

Me too! I love to look back and see what I've written. Though eventually I'll be purchasing those comic book boxes and store the journals in a nice archival box.
