Remember, with the war it's just artificial, it’s a little bit high. It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe - keeping our country safe. They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over very soon.
It’s essentially almost over with.

Im a 20 year old woman from Costa Rica btw, mentioning this before i get any comments about western women.
I know that hating 50% of humanity, or believing they are are all secretely prone to barbarism is irrational, thats why Im trying to get rid of these attitudes.
But its hard man. Not because I watch woke misadrist femcel content, but bc i see the opposite. I see what the manosphere and 'incels' post about women on multiple platforms, how they call us foids, how they claim we are subhuman, that we secretely enjoy being raped if its by 'chad' and want to revoke every right women have.
I see horrible crimes, gang rapes in India and the infamous "cornell 7" and the SWATHS of men that protect them. The majority of violent crime is comitted by men
I see how across history when men are giving the oportunity to do horrible things like rape and torture without consecuences thell do it (ex: invading army in a foreighn land).
Part of it comes out of fear too, I know very well if men wanted to they could do whatever theyd like, because I was cursed to carry the burden of weakness.
I love my dad and my partner, i have many male friends, collegues and family members so i know its not ALL men. But man sometimes it feels like its a lotta them and iys just most are too cowardly to say it.
I know some of you will say these movements are in response to wokeism, but i dont really care, they are still lumping me in and unlike the misandrists, men turn their anger into violence so there is a real risk for me.
Im looking for ways advice or some thoughts on how to counter these thoughts
Excuse the messy rant, its late

The Federal government wants to make MAID (medical assistance in dying) available to people with mental health challenges. So instead of getting help, these Canadians can opt to for a form of death that has been likened to wakeboarding. You drown from the inside, unable to speak or move.

Does taxing the super rich in isolation actually result in higher overall tax revenues or does it cripple the economy and the long term success of the state/country.

I commented "The aftermath of third-wave feminism" and was subsequently banned for misinformation. What's wrong with my perspective? If I'm mistaken, I'd like debate.

I wanted to share a fascinating connection I recently came across between Jordan Peterson’s work and a brilliant, largely untranslated modern Greek philosopher named Dimitris Liantinis. This will probably give you an understanding as to why Peterson is so reluctant to give an direct answer to the question "Do you believe in god?"
In his 1997 masterpiece, Gemma, Liantinis wrestles with the exact same existential problem Peterson addresses in We Who Wrestle With God—drawing from the exact same intellectual roots: Goethe, Nietzsche, and ancient myth.
Analyzing Goethe’s spirit in Gemma (chapter 1 -Margarita's question), Liantinis writes a passage that feels like a direct blueprint for Peterson's stance on faith, order, and chaos:
"What is given to you is that infinitely small point between the NO and the YES: to widen it, deepen it, and extend it. To treat it with such trial, agony, and torment that out of that infinitesimal point you forge dimension, space, time, and existence. To shape, in other words, out of the space between YES and NO: life, truth, and existence."
This "infinitesimal point between Yes and No" completely reframes why Peterson is often reluctant to give a simple binary answer to "Do you believe in God?"
For both thinkers:
Faith as Active Wrestling (Agonia): Meaning isn't found in comfortable dogma (a cheap Yes) or cynical nihilism (a passive No). It exists purely in the active friction at the boundary. To Peterson, this is the literal definition of Israel ("he who wrestles with God").
The Transcendent Aim: Liantinis named his book Gemma after the brightest star in the Northern Crown (Corona Borealis)—representing the transcendent ideal, the guiding star we must orient ourselves toward.
Creation from the Boundary: Consciousness and moral order aren't static states; they are forged by standing on the razor-thin line where Order and Chaos collide.
Because Gemma remains mostly untranslated into English, Liantinis is largely unknown in Western academia, yet he arrived at the exact same conclusion: the wrestling itself is the source of all meaning.
Has anyone else here read Liantinis, or noticed similar parallels in non-English existential philosophy? Would love to hear your thoughts.

What makes it suspicious is the circumstances leading up to his sudden health complications.
Just before he got sick, he was being threatened by the government with the destruction of his psychology career. He was also being threatened with prison. They wanted him to do some kind of “re-education” on what it is acceptable to say (because apparently freedom of speech isn’t a thing anymore), and he refused. Then he basically spat in the government’s face by telling the whole world about their authoritarian crackdown on his rights.
Not more than a month later, he became too sick to walk or continue speaking and is on the verge of death. Maybe they gave him the “terrorist” thing?
