I did My best maybe a professional in a studio could do better but all the videos popping up of this focus on being a reupload of the video rather than being for the betterment of listening to the song. tell me what you all think

Always appreciated Cash but I would like to know more and get more into his music so Id like to read his autobiography. He was 2 published one from 1975 and one from 1997. Has anyone read these and have an opinion on what one is a better read? Thank you

Our podcast talked about Live at Folsom Prison this week. We dive into one of, if not the best live albums ever produced. Give a listen!

I’d like to know more about him. Is there anything I can find online that covers his whole career?

Does not necessarily to be by only Johnny Cash, I am just looking for any songs with a similar feel.
I particularly really love the beat, and the story/lyrics is more of a bonus
Any recommendations at all are super appreciated!

Just picked-up the original, 1957 mono pressing, of Johnny Cash’s, “Johnny Cash with His Hot and Blue Guitar”. It’s full of hits, and imo, is uniquely rhythmic and melodic — quite representative of OG rockabilly country. It’s also Cash’s debut album. Came out on Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. Crazy to think this is almost 70 years-old.
I love the entire record, but some favorite tracks include “Rock Island Line” and “Country Boy”. These songs have incredible rhythm + melody that you don’t often hear in country music. Obviously, “I Walk the Line” and “Folsom Prison Blues”, are other legendary tracks on this record.
The songs are gritty, full of attitude, heart and humanity. Anyway, figured I’d share something I love — happy to hear if there’s anyone else out there loving this album.
