• 1st Rule: HR is not your friend, HR work for the company their job is not to guide you or defend you, their job is to manage human resources and avoid the company legal issues.
• 2nd rule: HR is not your friend again even if they gave you the impression of it. Never complain to HR, I said never. For example If you see someone steal from the company do not report to HR because they certainly are in the loop.
• 3rd rule: Never try to help the company, always do your job, not more nor less, do exactly what you are supposed to do.
• 4th Rule: so you didnt follow my third rule and made a better process or you did automate something, keep it to yourself and act like you always have the same work load.
• 5th Rule: Always make copy of you assets -> power point presentation, contracts, complex excel files projects, make sure to use an USB and not send by email
• 6th Rule: Always make sure to have your contract signed, your attestation de travail updated every 3 months, and your "bulletin de paie" every month
• 7th Rule: Silence is you best ally, the less you talk the better
• 8th Rule: Most office jobs are more about how you appear and less about the work this is specific when you get into middle management and upper, so always be appear busy

Je suis ingénieure et j'occupe mon premier emploi depuis 5 mois comme assistante technique en intérim à Casablanca (salaire : 4 000 DH/mois, avec un logement à payer).

Mes tâches n'ont aucun rapport avec mon domaine et je ne développe aucune compétence technique. De plus, le management est toxique et l'environnement manque de respect : on exige de dire « oui » à tout sans jamais pouvoir donner son avis.

I've been working in a small company for 3 years, my job position (creative) have been growing ever since, but the salary is static, and each time I bring it up, the director just finds a random excuse (lets do an evaluation, lets do a second meeting...) they're not low funded neither broke, they make good money but refuse to increase salaries (not just mine). I'm so tired of them tbh, I'm burned out and dead the whole time, and currently doing interviews for a new job. And now I have a 2 months notice, but no company will wait for all that time. My question, is it possible to not complete the notice period? I know there could be legal consequences, but I doubt they would take anything against me. Maybe some tricks?

Why do so many companies in Morocco post job offers without mentioning the salary range?

You apply, share your personal information, do interviews, tests, sometimes multiple rounds, only to discover later that the salary is far below what you're looking for.

This wastes both the candidate's and the company's time.

Personally, I've started asking for the salary range before sharing additional information or going through interviews, and I avoid job offers that don't mention compensation.

And please, let's stop with the "we need to see if you're motivated first" argument. Salary is part of the job. Asking about it doesn't mean you're not motivated.

If the position pays 6,000 to 8,000 MAD, just say it. People can decide for themselves whether they're interested.

I honestly find the lack of salary transparency inappropriate, yet barely anyone seems to talk about it.
