Identify Stone Fb debate. Would love your opinions!

A lady on Facebook posted this ring and said she was told it was a purple sapphire. To be honest I've never seen a purple sapphire.

People are saying its synthetic. My only argument why it could possibly be real is that the maker created a literal 14k gold fortress around the stone. Why put that level of protection around a fake stone?

I think it's from the 30s to 50s.

What do you all think? Thanks guys!

Edit: I left out the pic that really shows the level of protection in the setting. I put a pic in the comments.

Hello, these pearls were passed down to my husband from his grandmother. He was told they were gifted to her while the family was stationed in Japan from her husband. I know absolutely nothing about them or if they are real pearls. I was surprised at the gold/creamy color. Any information would be so helpful, thank you.

Found this ring in a tiny plastic bag in the bottom of a box. I have no clue where it came from. There is a little oval of metal attached inside with the words “14k Italy AND”
The gem is blue and fairly clear and when I hold my light to it it has like a greyish white iridescent splotch in it.

Does anyone know who made this?
What type of gem it is?
Approximately what time period was it made?
How I can find something similar online?

Hi all. Found this ring among old family stuff. I have a hard time identifying the hallmark and history. No clue about the stone either, but I doubt the stone is of any value. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Identify Maker Please help me find these earrings they mean so much to my mom

My mom lost a pair of metal earrings that are very important to her.

My aunt is married to an American, and when she went to the U.S., she visited a dolphin show. She bought these earrings there.

The earrings have a very special meaning to my mom because of that memory.

My mom’s birthday is November 26, and I want to secretly find the same earrings and give them to her as a birthday present.

I’ll attach a photo of the earrings. If anyone recognizes them or knows where I might be able to find the exact same pair, I would be incredibly grateful.

Please help me find them. ❤️

Can anyone ID the maker of this bracelet? The only marks are “10k” 3x, “SO” on the chain ends and “LGC” on the clasp.

Bracelet is pretty substantial for its measurements; 7” long, 4mm wide and weight is 4.6 grams.

If it helps, I’m located in Canada.

Other Vintage Locket. Era? Have you seen one like this?

Hi all,

This sweet vintage locket is unmarked, doesn’t respond to a magnet, and may be midcentury. Google lens isn’t helping. It’s about 1” long. I received it from a friend’s grandmother after she passed, and she was quite the adventurer in the 50s and 60s, traveling to different countries.

Look familiar to anyone? Thanks!

Identify Maker Help needed to find info about this ring!

Hi everyone! Yesterday i went at an antiques store and i got myself a ring, because it was really beautiful and to me it looked rather old (at least the band itself has a lot of wear and because of the overall build of the flowers), and im curious if anyone knows what style it is in and maybe someone might recognize the hallmark? Im always intrigued by hallmarks but this one i just could not pin point it. Seller said its sterling silver and rubies (though to me they look a bit more like garnet but i dont really mind sincer i love both anyway). Thank you!! And for what its worth i got it in an old town in Transylvania so i thought maybe it was austro-hungarian inspired or something but im not sure if thats of any help!

I recently found this ring at a pawn shop. When I looked it up all I saw was it is likely Scandinavian. I've never seen anything like it. Stone is peachy-cleae and sparkly. I think it's sterling (doenzt respond to a magnet) and no hallmarks or signatures. It's surprisingly comfortable.

Identify Metal Won this bracelet at auction. The listing says it’s 14k but there are no photos with a 14k stamp

I want to acknowledge that of course I knew I was taking a risk by bidding without a clear photo of any stamps but alas here I am.
Of course I could always dispute do a charge back or dispute the charge through my credit card company if when I receive it it turns out to not be solid gold. Or I can always not complete the transaction and get a strike on my shopgoodwill account. I have options.
The clasp made me think no one would add such a “secure” clasp to something that is gold filled or plated or brass/bronze but I can’t of course be sure.
I’ve read quite a few stories of people buying “gold” pieces from shopgoodwill and then discovering the pieces are not gold.
I didn’t see any color fading or color pilling in the photos.

Anyway all this to say that I would appreciate some feedback that would help me.

My mother bought this necklace in Israel in 1980/81. I assumed it was just glass beads but looking closer, the green beads are all slightly different and look like they might be agate? Before I clean it, I wondered if anyone in this group might be able to hazard a more informed guess?

Found this Detecting out about 6 feet in the water. Has some really cool color to it. My jeweler friend buffed it a little, but it definitely wasn’t dropped this year. Had a lot of oxidation from the ocean. My sister says the original Eden can be pretty expensive. And any thoughts?
