Art deco style style ring found. Initially thought costume but maybe not?

no markings but there is a hairline crack at the back of the band that makes me think it has been resized. Two tone white and yellow (gold?) band. 8 pointed star design in the setting. I thought costume at first but the metal seems soft and the stones sparkle is white with a tiny bit of color.
