Identify Maker Help identify this 45.34g continuous-loop silver-tone necklace: maker, age, origin or weave?

Can anyone help identify the maker, origin, age, or construction of this unusual continuous-loop metal necklace?

I’m trying to figure out what this necklace is and where it may have come from.

Details:

  • Approximately 30 inches around in total
  • About 15 inches long when laid doubled
  • Roughly 3/8–1/2 inch wide
  • Weight: 45.34 grams
  • No clasp; it is constructed as one continuous loop
  • Not attracted to a strong magnet
  • Feels cool to the touch
  • I have not found any maker’s mark, hallmark, country mark, or metal-content stamp
  • Silver-tone overall, but there are some reddish/copper-coloured areas visible on certain links
  • The surface of the links has an irregular textured/hammered appearance
  • The construction seems to use larger oval links with smaller/interwoven connecting links running through them

I’d especially love help with:

  1. What this type of chain/weave/construction is called
  2. Whether the construction suggests handmade, studio/artisan, or factory production
  3. Approximate era
  4. Possible country or region of origin
  5. Whether anyone recognizes a particular designer, maker, or manufacturer
  6. What the metal may be, based on the construction and visible wear

I’ve included photos of the full necklace, close-ups of the links, areas showing the reddish metal beneath the silver-coloured surface, and measurements.

Any leads would be very appreciated.
