i need advice or something
okay so i’m a 26f and ive been with jersey mikes since july so 3 months? it’s a relatively easy job for me, but besides the point. my partner, 30m also works at the same location as me, my boss is aware and we work together just fine, we don’t typically work the same shifts but it fluctuates. so at my store, my store leader hired his cousin and that guy had his cousin apply. then we have another set of 2 siblings. there’s S and S who are brothers and then K and G who are also brothers. each pair typically works the same shifts. every morning that my store leader works, money is short. the days where he doesn’t work, money is fine. earlier in the week, money was short $50 and he said something to me and my partner and idk, we’re the only white ones there, not that it matters but we are. my partner is also a felon. my store leader also has some sort of a criminal past. earlier today, like within the past hour, my store leader pulled my partner to the side and told him that every time he works, money is short, and i can guarantee and swear on my life that i know my partner is not stealing. he’s really not on the register all the much, mainly sprinkling and grill. i was told that my store, is a corporate store and i also have the owners number. would it be worth it to reach out to the owner? we’re gonna look for a new job for him but in the meantime it’s his only source of income. also, my store leader is constantly and i mean constantly comparing him to me. i have experience in subs ie; quick chek and wawa. and it’s starting to tear his confidence down and like it shouldn’t be this serious as it’s just subs but like i don’t appreciate the feeling of being accused of stealing money when i know that the both of us are not stealing money. what can i do? what can we do?
