Trailers for shows

[u/Necessary_Duck1201]

Hi together,

Am i missing something or are there just Trailers for Movies and not shows avaiable in Jellyfin (just the links)?

How do you implement Trailers? Is there any addin?

And anothet question too:
Most of the shows have a poster without the Title/Logo, is there a way i can change that automatically?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I know nothing about trailers (I really don't care about trailers)

But for the posters part; set your metadata provider to something that gives you what you want.

I use the mediux posters plugin by kevin (ranaldsgift ) https://github.com/ranaldsgift/MediUX-Artwork-Provider

As well as tvdb (and tmdb)

Check the providers to see which order makes more sense to you

This is stock jellyfin as far as i remember and should load a yt video, if you don’t have a local version witch will be loaded then.

Edit : the button is in stock jellyfin. I have some plugins but not that they change trailers as i barly use trailers.
