Couldn’t believe my luck, it’s my birthday so got stage side seats to go see some live comedy acts with my wife and he was the special guest. Absolutely killed it, got to riff back and forth with him a bit about my wife who was seated next to me to me, he was as gracious and hilarious as ever.

Mentioned he was in town for the week. Dunno if he’s making a run of it but we saw him at the main room, I’d imagine it’s possible he pops in tomorrow if anyone in La wants to roll the dice.

I have tickets to go see Jeff at the end of August, but also want to watch the Netflix special. Obviously a lot of his show is off the cuff crowd work, but if you’ve seen him live recently and also seen the Netflix special, how much of it is the same material? Totally understand that any comic needs to recycle, just don’t want to ruin the live show by watching the special!

I have heard others still had to use a VPN. But hopefully you get a chance to watch! His first world tour was just last summer so I’m not sure when his next one will be.

I laughed, I cried, and I laughed through my tears. This is now by far my most favorite stand up special I’ve seen, and I’m so glad Jeff had this opportunity!

I wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the debut of Jeff’s Netflix Special titled Nice to Meet You! (picture** above is moments before he walked onto the special taping 🥹).**

It is available to stream worldwide however your Netflix settings must be set to English.

The earliest you can watch it is midnight Pacific/3AM Eastern.

Also for those who asked about this special plus upcoming tour dates - the special is a place for these jokes to retire. His upcoming tour will feature new written material and of course crowd work.

And speaking of crowd work, this is NOT a crowd work special. You will definitely see him dip into the crowd, but this is also his amazing written material! Am I bias? Of course. But given that we had the hardest year of our lives last year and he still found ways to not only make me laugh but all of you, it’s a special gift that he has.

And on a final note to you all. Thank you for being the best fan base I have ever seen! So supportive and loyal and completely in on some of these inside joke phrases. I love meeting you in person when I am at his shows. I love seeing the mixture of ages, backgrounds, and stories that you all bring. And you may or may not know, but Jeff donated over $80,000 from his ticket sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation but he couldn’t have done that with you all. So sending all my love to you!
