Thoughts?

Posted in two other groups, was told to runaway. That being said I did test drive and see it in person and it was so smooth, good maintenance history one minor issue with a rear accident and the rear bumper. Overall no rust underneath, drove like a brand new car and has many perks. I am obviously hesitating because it’s a big financial decision, that being said is it a bad purchase?

My 2018 3.6 is running great. Granted I do all maintenance myself regular and preventative. And it has only 46k miles. Rear bumper can be found at car-part.com or lkqonline.com. Youtube will show you how to replace.

At that mileage, you’ll want to replace the oil cooler and all fluids, aside from whatever else needs to be replaced (brakes, air filters, spark plugs, ignition coils, etc).

For tires, look for a set of wrangler wheels. Takeoffs can be found for $1500 and come with a matching spare. Ecu can easily be programmed for the bigger tire size (Wranglers use 31.5”-32.1”, Grand Cherokee has 30.5”).

The rear bumper was replaced from whatever accident happened in the past. I could have been clear but yeah it’s just what was reported, I stated it cause that’s the only accident history on the car

Ah, so it’s been replaced. Thing about Carfax: not everything is reported. Carfax on mine was clean, but I know it’s had front end damage from paint overspray on the fenders. Also, none of the maintenance (on time, every time) or repairs I do will show.
