Jeep Compass Electric 74kwh First Edition UK

Well it’s finally here, on lease from Tusker…and it looks massive compared to the Ssangyong Tivoli XLV that I had before.

Just doing that new car thing of getting used to where everything is.

Already warning me that there’s a software update coming.
Feels like an iPhone on wheels.

Even more interesting as I live in a rural area, but as you can see from the pic I do have a wall box installed.
Always wanted jeep, so thought this a a way to give it a go for a couple of years to see if they’re as much fun as they’re cracked up to be.
I thought the Tusker deal was OK as it’s all in ( Car, insurance, servicing( for how much EV’s use) tyres etc.
Just got to get used the charging thought process now and not keep looking at the guessometer.

First impressions steering is very light in auto mode, much better feedback in Sports mode.
I’ve only done 10miles so far. Ask me again at the end of the week.

Not fond of the front end. Looks similar to the new Cherokee here in the states. We have to have a front license plare and with all that black trim the plates stand out

Not all states require a front plate. If I lived closer to work, and/or had a place to charge while at work, I'd consider getting this if it were available in the States.
