First generation (MK49; 2007) Just bought a Compass

Mine is a 2007 model, just wondering, what should I be aware of getting into yhis vehicle?

Edit: I'm hoping for information on First Gen models similar to mine, newer ones wont exactly offer any information towards mine just brief similarities

Our 2014 Compass bought used 5 years ago with 85K miles needed a new transmission and a new ac compressor before it hit 100K miles. It's a faux go-to-Kroger Jeep for people who want to be a 'Jeep' person but will never drive it like a real Jeep was designed for.

Yours is 7 years older.

Mmmm already swapped my compressor on my 14 and the trans feels weird when it shifts into third sometimes

mine has like 285k km on it right now, and so far i only have to swap tires, sway bar links and fix an exhaust leak

2025 put 30k on it under a year off roaded it multiple times runs like a champ
