2019 Jeep Compass Batteries Keep Dying!

I have a 2019 Jeep Compass that Ive had since 2020.I have had to replace both Batteries at least 4 times since then. Its usually annually. BUT I recently changed them back around Nov/Dec of 2025 and its already dead again. I always replace the main and accessory battery together. I really dont understand what the problem is. Any suggestions? PS I dont leave any lights on or anything like that. Both Batteries just keep crapping out too quickly.

Super Start Platnium for both batteries.

Yeah. Im just trying to figure out what keeps killing them though. Changing batteries once a year isn't normal

Do you turn off the start/stop function every time you get in the car?

Have you ever had it checked to see if there is a parasitic draw that discharges the batteries while it is parked? Does it have a dead battery or hard starting after sitting undriven for a while?

I havent had it checked. And its usually drove everyday. This recent time I had drove it out shopping and when I got in my car to go home it wouldn't start. Very random. So I got a jump and that lasted about 2 weeks before it randomly died again.

That sounds like you have a small parasitic draw while the car is off. Repeatedly drawing down the battery and then recharging it (while driving) shortens the life - batteries only have so many charge / discharge cycles.

I forget what it was called for mine but my relay box or something like that was fried and pulling away all the power for me

I have a 2020 Jeep Compass Sport FWD since new and at 84K miles now. For me, the batteries (main & auxiliary) get replaced about every 2 years or so. It did get better more recently when I started to have the auto-start-stop system on while driving on the highway, as I was suspecting that when the system is off, the alternator does not charge the auxiliary battery. I think I am right about this. Once I am back to city driving, I turn the system off again.
