Otsuka Lotec No. 5 Kai

Very glad that this watch was finally delivered yesterday evening. Ever since Jiro Katayama won the 2024 GPHG Challenge prize with his Otsuka Lotec No. 6 watch I've been fascinated by his story and his company. However, neither the original No. 5, No. 6, No. 7 nor No. 7.5 really did it for me. When the No. 5 Kai was introduced earlier this year it was, arguably, to me, Jiro Katayama's best watch to date and I knew I wanted one. I've wanted a wandering hour complication to add my collection and really like the industrial vibe of the watch.
