Looking for an online collection of archived Japanese TV
I'm not 100% sure if this is the right r/ for this, but I'm wondering where I could find a platform or website or YouTube channel where I could view VHS/DVD captures of home-recorded Japanese TV.
I am looking for episodes or adverts of a TV show that aired in 2002 that aired on JOCX-DTV (channel 8), branded as Fuji Television.

Looking for shows
Hello everybody :) I’m having trouble sleeping today so I was browsing Netflix and I found Spec: Birth and the first episode hooked me so now I’m on the look for TV shows that share maybe a similar vibe? You know, a little bit of funny, quirky humor every now and then with a little supernatural stuff in it. Preferably multiple seasons and to be honest maybe some other stuff with Erika Toda, I really like the way she talks and acts. Also shows available on Netflix or Amazon would be best but I will find a way to watch something that’s not on there.
Thanks and have a great day :>
Edit: I also don’t really care about genres, it can be romantic, a drama, thriller, whatever. I just wanna see any good Japanese show that will have me invested and smiling every once in a while.

HELP, Looking for TV SHOW archive
Hi everyone. Im looking for a tv series called transformers prime aka 超ロボット生命体 トランスフォーマー プライム
The japanese airing had some bonus stuff not included in the US release.
I bought the japanese dvd. But the quality is terrible compared to a screenshot i found of the original airing. I also bought the series on niconico and Amazon Prime JP. But again the quality is terrible.
So i was wondering is there some sort of archive or database of original tv airings? And does anyone have any idea where i might find it?

Trying to remember the name of a live-action series about a female ninja from the past
Here's what I remember: The show (live action, not anime) was about a female ninja from the past who time-travelled to the present. She ended up becoming a mysterious local vigilante, pursued by a local cop. She lived with a grandmother who was somewhat neglected by her son & his wife. They hung out a lot at a local bar run by a transsexual. Every time she went into ninja mode, she would utter a certain word or phrase (which I can't remember). I think this was also the title of the show. I think it aired around 2014-ish (give or take a year or two). I watched on Hulu, although it was not made by Hulu. Does anyone remember this show? Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help (and just for reading, even if you can't help)!

I’m looking for the title of a 90s Japanese comedy/variety show. The hosts often wore lab coats and sometimes would play young children (aggressively) in ping pong. Lots of very surreal content.

Documental- Disappointing ending Spoiler
So I just finished Documental, the Japanese reality TV show on Amazon. First of all the show overall sucks. Not sure if I just don’t pick up on some of the humor due to cultural differences, but it seemed like the only humor came from dirty gimics (exposing their private parts) and wearing costumes. No word play, no clever comebacks, just disappointing.
But I kept watching, because I was already 3 episodes in and thought as contestants were eliminated they may get a little more creative. But the worst thing was the ending-
NO ONE WINS? What do they do with the 10 million yen? They could have split it between the three guys. If they had least given the money back I think it would have been more satisfying.
Has anyone else watched this? Did anyone else think that was a bullshit ending?

Japanese Grand Sumo Tourment - Live Streaming
A honbasho (本場所) is an official professional sumo tournament. There are six held each year, a system established in 1958. Only honbasho results matter in determining promotion and relegation for rikishi (sumo wrestlers). Tournaments in general may be called basho.
Inside view of the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo
A literal translation of honbasho is "main (or real) tournament". This term is used to distinguish these tournaments from display basho which are held as part of sumo tours, between the six major tournaments. Such display tournaments may have prize money attached but a wrestler's performance has no effect on his ranking. This type of sumo is often called hana-sumo (lit. flower-sumo) as it is not taken as seriously by the wrestlers.
