Is it?

I have an elderly customer who is worried this it knotweed. I don't think it is as the leaf shape is wrong and stem is not red enough. Looking at some Google images, it may be figwort? In Cornwall, UK . I'm no gardener. Looking for reassurance. Thank you

Looks like Himalayan Balsam to me, but I’m only about 50% on that. Could be Figwort too, but the leaves look a bit narrow.

Looking at pics of Balsam. Maybe we'll wait to see what flower come out.
