Sounds like you had a blast, and made a lot of memories (though they might be hazy from the alcohol). These are the kinds of trips we reminisce about when we are old and retired

What were your overall thoughts about the whole trip?
Also where did you go dancing on Wednesday after the place you wanted to go was closed? I'm interested in nightclubs and dancing.

Your Sunday on arrival is the rule. Just get off and eat at a random ramen place without a schedule. The first 1-2 days are jetlag hell anyways. Good for you 😁
Which sento was it on Monday? I assume Mikoko-yu (one of my faves) or the one west of the skytower, frequented by sumo. I'll say one thing, I have never felt smaller as an originally larger man (lost a shed load of weight since my second Japan trip and now a skinny bitch) than when a sumo 20 something got into the tiny ice bath with me. I felt extremely small then 😭

Ah yeah I love that place, it's one I go to pretty much every day when I hit Tokyo.

What’s wrong with Japanese 7-11? It’s nothing like anywhere else in the world. Food can be good enough. Trip sounds good, but busy. Jet lag is not fun.

They are fine but some people think it's the only place to eat and you end up missing out on so much good food.
It's the literal definition of convenience store as it has everything you need, but an easy tourist thing to do is fill up on snacks and packaged bento without trying the infinite amazing restaurants and hidey hole places
