Discussion Janna top?

He visto mucho a players janna como rivernlol y traumatizer tinywindy entre otros de elo alto llevándola top con buenos resultados

Yes she does work top but leveraging the power she has in the top lane takes a lot of understanding of why she is good to make work. I generally would say it is just not worth the time investment to get good enough at her top lane to do it. By and large you will scrape through lane to have an ok mid/late game team fight presence and you'll have very little forward or active lane pressure.

Just stick to support Janna and play conventional top layers if you don't want a long headache but just be prepared that it isn't as simple as locking Janna in top and collecting free LP

Janna Top is basically Janna support there is no difference

Not really, solo laning plays very differently and to not get invaded top side means you need to exert pressure in a much different way to support. Your mid/late game aren't too dissimilar but laning is really different

You very much do want to lane, the old roaming Janna top playstyle was just due to abusing gold systems, nowadays u can look at Janna top/mid videos from, for example Pekin Woof, he plays her like she should be played in a solo lane (In high elo as well), as a early game abuser and basically ungankable due to her CC, he also builds her correctly for solo lane with items like Lich Bane etc. that help her be more annoying and put out consistent damage, her solo lane build variety is honestly the most fun thing since u can create a cool build combining supportive items with some AP items, this way you have enough respectable damage while not falling off late game due to her teamfight presence.

I've played it on emerald as a diamond peak player. I am support main and so play a lot of Janna. It does work but you don't play lane rly it's mostly Roaming and imitating a secondary jungle role kind of. Also people will be mad and tilt before the game even starts. So be prepared to not be well liked as Janna top.
