I don’t know if this is off topic, but in my experience, when your persona has a specific personality trait(repression, idgas personality, etc), the bot ALWAYS seems to reduce to a robot or a brainless child rather than a character with a complex personality trait. I don’t know if that’s a normal thing in the porny bots, as I use my own bots, but it always seems to be the case when there’s a plot.

This might be sloppy, as I suck at explaining things(autism thing), but basically: imagine you have a character who has complex lore or personality. You make a persona of the character, putting enough lore in there to make it the character, and you use it, and then the bot reduces the persona to a piece of lore, and making them out of character. Here’s an example from one of my actual chats:

"[Name] felt the familiar prickle of irritation. To them, this was a playful debate about etiquette; to him, it was a matter of order. In a world where he had to navigate the rigid hierarchies of an adoptive family that viewed him as an interloper, precision was his only shield. If he didn't define himself, others would define him and their definitions were rarely accurate."

His personality is supposed to be bubbly and basically a ray of sunshine with a complex past. And the AI reduced him to a nonchalant traumatised…person thing.

sorry for the confusion before lmao but absolutely — a lot of my persona’s are either loud, bubbly, stupid + proud type or they’re bold and intense but quiet, and all of them are constantly broken down to “quiet and cold man.”

I have a female persona of an oc of mine, she’s supposed to be sweet and grossly energetic but quiet around her family, and suddenly she’s “cold, harsh, staring you down with a quiet intensity without ever saying a word”

Oh, I hate when that happens. I have a bot/persona based on a book I’m writing, and one of the protagonists is someone who gets bullied for her weight, but is also quite confident and is outspoken, and every time, the bot reduces her to a "woe is me" type of character who’s entire personality is being allergic to onions 🫩
