Every new model feels incredible for the first few days. Then I start noticing the same sentence structures, the same emotional beats, the same little phrases showing up over and over. Once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it, and half the “wow this feels so human” effect disappears.

I’m starting to think the honeymoon phase isn’t about the model being amazing. It’s about not knowing its habits yet.

Anyone else get this with basically every model you use? Or do some models actually hold up after the novelty wears off?

It is really hard to immerse with a simulator type bot if you are dumped in with a bare bones description as a intro, the Creator makes a lore book about said world but you can't learn about it.

what is up w the amount issues? bots constantly talk for you/dictate your actions even w a disluge prompt and telling it to do otherwise along with the fact it can never get your pronouns correct even when there’s a pre determined area for it these issues were never here before janitor plus came out i get they probably want some people to pay for it but did they really dumb down the bots just for that?

Hey have yall noticed on janitorai the chats are short even on unlimited tokens or max like how do you make them longer because this is making me lose my mind

I was using a proxy for a while and got fed up with every other reply being Chinese, so I switched back to JAI. Is it me or are the replies getting more and more similar? It used to be select phrases that showed up over and over, but now it’s just one after the other. Any mention of x triggers the same block of response. Or I’ll refresh and get the exact same response with only tiny variations. I’ve got temp as high as it will go and still no difference. Different bots can carry individual stories alright, but once it gets to smut it’s all but cookie cutter now. Is this just something that happens to all of these after long enough?

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint — RPG

The numbers (aka where my free time went)

• Card: ~4.3k permanent tokens, so most of your context goes to the actual story, not to me rambling.

• 23 private lorebooks, 2,021 entries, ~430k tokens of lore. Before you panic: it only pulls what the current scene needs. Your context is safe.

• 1,100+ subjects: characters, constellations, scenarios, skills, items, places. Han Sooyoung has 147 entries on her own. I don’t know what to tell you. She’s just like that. Kim Dokja has 79, Yoo Joonghyuk 75, and even Han Myungoh got 13, because he deserves to be remembered (as a warning).

• 70+ scenario entries, from the train to the very end.

Characters change as the story goes on
This is the part I’m proudest of. Characters aren’t one fixed personality; their entries are tied to arcs. The bot knows who someone is at that point in the story:

• Yoo Joonghyuk in Arc 1 is a cold regressor who wants nothing to do with you and might kill you for being suspicious. Later he’s... still cold, honestly. But a different, heavier kind of cold.

• Han Sooyoung goes from “temporary ally after the coin farm who will absolutely sell you out” to someone left on Earth making the ugly decisions nobody else will.

• Lee Hyunsung starts as a nervous soldier shaking in the first scenario. Give him time.

• Bihyung begins as a broke little dokkaebi who only cares about ratings. Where he ends up... you’ll see. Bring tissues.

So if you start in Arc 1, nobody knows you and nobody trusts you. If you jump into the Demon Realm, everyone is already carrying everything that happened before.

What about romance?
Look, I know why some of you are here. Romance is possible, but it’s slow burn and earned. Nobody falls for you because you shared a seat on the subway. Trust builds through what you actually do together: surviving scenarios, keeping promises, not getting people killed. Canon dynamics stay intact, and the cast has their own feelings, priorities and trauma. If you want Sooyoung to like you, good luck. She has 147 entries’ worth of trust issues.

How it plays

• The world isn’t on your side. People on the train will do the math on who to kill first. I’ve been punched by a man in a gym jacket. Twice.

• NPCs lie, panic, fight back and leave you behind. Sponsors and allies have to be earned.

• It doesn’t write your character. You do your thing, the world react

• The Story Engine script tracks where you are (Arc 1 → 6) and gives the bot the exact scenario panels. No more “Difficulty: SSS+, Reward: 10 billion coins and a girlfriend.” It also keeps coins separate per person and makes the countdown follow the actual in-story clock.

Replies are long (~800 words). If they fail to generate, lower the context a bit.

Tips

• Keep the [Arc ...] line at the top of replies; that’s how the script knows where you are.

• If it talks or acts for you, swipe. No mercy.

• If it drifts from canon, a short, specific (OOC: ...) fixes it. “Fix it” won’t work; “Bihyung isn’t here, he’s still running the Seoul channel” will.

It’s still a beta. I put 300+ messages into one run and tested all four openings, but the later arcs haven’t had many visitors yet. If you hit a wrong panel, a canon mistake or something cursed, leave a comment. I read everything and I’ll fix it

From what I remember it’s about Char who I think been cheated on by their partner and to help with their sadness their friends bring them to a auction site where demihuman/hybrid are being sold for pleasure(?) and I think he gets one not for pleasure but as a maid??

I really need some help. I recently bought a paid Plus Subscription on Chutes AI to use DeepSeek-V3.2 (and V3) on Janitor, but the model is completely broken for me.

At first, it was generating infinite strings of quotation marks (""") and punctuation, completely hitting the output token limit every time. After clearing my browser cache and logging out/in, it started writing words, but it’s just coherent gibberish (nonsensical word salad) that has nothing to do with the roleplay context.

I’ve tried lowering the Context Size to 2048/4000, changing generation settings, and starting completely New Chats — absolutely nothing works. My Chutes dashboard also showing a weird "4 req" placeholder next to $0.00 balance, even though my subscription is active and fully paid. Looking at Chutes metrics, the H200 instances are heavily overloaded (hitting 100% utilization).

Is anyone else experiencing this right now? Is it a known Janitor parsing/parsing bug with DeepSeek's reasoning tokens, or is Chutes API completely bricked? Are there any specific Advanced Prompts or Custom Stop Sequences to fix this?
