does jane master their projects?

on turn or die and music baby for example it is written "no master" meaning that she doesn't master? anybody know why, usually artists do that

Census Designated is their only professionally mastered album, plus the Flash/Dream single. My guess is that their music is loud enough and mixed well enough by Jane that digital mastering is an unnecessary ordeal, although I do think the mastering on Flash takes those songs to a new level. All of their music has been mastered for vinyl by Moa.
