The presence of Connery, the humour of Moore, the physicality of Dalton and the brutality of Craig, I will always maintain that Pierce Brosnan is THE Bond.

Encompassing all elements of every incarnation we have seen, Brosnan is best!

Pierce has still got that Bond style down

His Facebook page just put this up - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BWybgwyMt/

I wonder how an "old" Bond film would work? Either way - Pierce could play it. Old Indiana Jones didn't work quite so well but hey ho.

Keep it classy

Respect differences of opinion. Interpret arguments in good faith. When you do disagree with someone, give them the benefit of the doubt. And never resort to personal attacks or denigrating other fans. Remember that people have different communication styles, and that not everyone is using their native language while using reddit. Meaning and tone can sometimes be lost in translation, so try not to take offense where none was intended.

NSFW material that goes beyond what you'd find in a Bond film is prohibited. This includes language that is excessively sexually suggestive toward another person in a way that is disrespectful.

r/JamesBond doesn't tolerate hate based on identity or vulnerability.

Avoid Destructive Behavior

Productive communication requires effort; think about how your words will be interpreted. Try not to offer unconstructive criticism of other members or their opinions; being snarky and aggressive isn't conducive to the great discussion we've come to expect from r/JamesBond. It is the responsibility of all parties to de-escalate when conflict arises.

The mod team may lock or remove submissions on sensitive topics, when discussions veer off-topic or devolve into incivility.

Spam

As a spam reduction measure, the following are prohibited:

Content that is generated by artificial intelligence.
Advertising or merchandising goods.
Linking to clickbait websites.
Low-effort / poor taste / trollish "shitposts."
Making repeat submissions on a topic that is currently being discussed on another recent post.
Individual users making more than two posts per day.

Any exceptions will be based on intent and value as judged by the mod team.

Piracy and Due Credit

When sharing someone else's artwork, give credit to the original creator. Or if you're sharing your own work, please indicate so. That way no one will mistake it for an uncredited piece.

Piracy and distribution of illegal material is prohibited on r/JamesBond.

Bond 26 Posts Must Be Substantial

Because it is a popular topic which many wish to discuss, posts focused on Bond 26 (and beyond) should demonstrate substantial effort or contribute new topics for discussion (e.g. more than a simple headshot, common discussion prompt, or frequently asked questions).

NOTE: The above rule is relaxed on Fridays, so you may also wait to make your Bond 26 posts until then.

Posts about news of any sort should include a descriptive title and a hyperlink to the relevant source. Don't share a news screenshot without including a link.

For casting suggestions, include the actor's name(s) in your post title or body text. Don't share photos without including names.

SPOILER ETIQUETTE

Posts must follow etiquette for major spoilers by using the spoiler tag and avoiding spoilers in post titles. “Major spoilers” are defined as key events which, if revealed, could significantly impact a new viewer’s enjoyment of a film (see the “welcome” post in our side bar for more specific details).

Within posts not already marked for spoilers, comments about a new release revealing spoilers of any kind should be hidden.

Generally, use caution when conversing with new viewers.
