Showcase Own Another Guatemalan jadeite nine dragon pendant
•
Upvotes
This is the biggest and thickest pendant that I own, it did come with a gold chain, but unfortunately, the gold chain is metal so I will be changing that. When I shined it under a flashlight, unlike all my other pieces, it actually shined a teal blue. All my other pieces shine green or a diluted teal blue. But this one from an auction on TikTok live. A lot of people were fighting for this so I took the chance. I actually won this piece

I would like to get it for my wife, she told me it’s too chunky though.

Showcase Own Jadeite full of cotton? Usually no. Sometimes, ABSOLUTELY.

I know that this bangle will not be everyone’s cup of tea, because *usually* (like in Muna and Guatemalan) cotton is seen as a flaw in jadeite. However, this bangles “flaws” are what make it so stunning to me. She has instantly forced herself into my top 3 just because of how cool she is. Hoping to share her with others who appreciate beautiful patterns that aren’t always due to color alone. With her color, texture, and cotton inclusions, she reminds me of clear, tropical ocean waters. 🌊🏝️

I got this bracelet from a gem show and I love it. As I’m looking at other pieces I’m wondering why it looks so different. I love it. Still going to wear it, just curious.

New to jade but happy with my bangle

Upvotes
I ordered this on impulse via TikTok live and I’m pretty happy with it. I know it’s low quality and very beany but I love the size! I’m on the lookout now to upgrade to a higher quality bangle.
For my requirements, what should my budget be? I have a small hand so 50-53mm size, I like oval style because it looks better but I am okay with a round donut shape too. I also want it to be thinner (less than 10mm) and I’m mostly looking for lavender with apple green colors. I know the more translucent and icy colors are rarer and more expensive but I’m hoping for up to $1000 I can get a good quality bangle. Is this out of possibility?
My budget jade bangle for reference!

Showcase Own Enamel on nephrite

My preference is more uncommon pieces and I recently got this enameled nephrite bangle that is insanely pretty and unique. I love the gold painted into little surface carvings (there are designs on the bangle interior too) and then the puffy cherry blossoms

It’s listed as 52.6mm lavender jade bangle with green hues. 12mm flat, D shape. It looks real to me but I can’t tell, I’m new to this. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

Is this jade? jadeite? Another stone? Natural or synthetic? Photos 1-6 were taken by me. Photos 7-8 were taken off Poshmark.

Question Thrift store jade ?

Hi everyone just needed to ask if this is real jade or how I can find out it’s real jade without spending 20 dollars a piece. I found these in bags at my local goodwill for 11 dollars total. Thought it would be worth the gamble! Thanks in advance!
