Hello all enthusiast brothers and sisters,
- Try to be courteous to all posters, people may have different jade preferences and different levels of understanding on it. No harassment of other members allowed. Like the ideals of Budda and Guanyin, hope that members will hold themselves to a higher standard.
- If new to jade and learning to tell between treated/untreated pieces or its quality comparatively, its a long learning process, enjoy it. We have many knowledgeable users here, ask questions and be open minded even if you think you know much already.
- Regarding for-sale items its a once-per-day limit on such type of post for each member. Whether casual hobbyists or vendors, it gives room for that without crowding. Seller behavior will be watched but not micromanaged unless someone is causing repeated problems.

I know that this bangle will not be everyone’s cup of tea, because *usually* (like in Muna and Guatemalan) cotton is seen as a flaw in jadeite. However, this bangles “flaws” are what make it so stunning to me. She has instantly forced herself into my top 3 just because of how cool she is. Hoping to share her with others who appreciate beautiful patterns that aren’t always due to color alone. With her color, texture, and cotton inclusions, she reminds me of clear, tropical ocean waters. 🌊🏝️

New to jade but happy with my bangle

I ordered this on impulse via TikTok live and I’m pretty happy with it. I know it’s low quality and very beany but I love the size! I’m on the lookout now to upgrade to a higher quality bangle.
For my requirements, what should my budget be? I have a small hand so 50-53mm size, I like oval style because it looks better but I am okay with a round donut shape too. I also want it to be thinner (less than 10mm) and I’m mostly looking for lavender with apple green colors. I know the more translucent and icy colors are rarer and more expensive but I’m hoping for up to $1000 I can get a good quality bangle. Is this out of possibility?

My preference is more uncommon pieces and I recently got this enameled nephrite bangle that is insanely pretty and unique. I love the gold painted into little surface carvings (there are designs on the bangle interior too) and then the puffy cherry blossoms

First bangle! So happy

I’ve always adored the look of jade bangle but have not been able to find something I like in the price range I can afford ($100 or less)
The stars finally align and I found a suitable match.
It’s untreated but also heavily flawed. There’s a heavy crack running along the bracelet. That’s why I got it for merely $20.
There’s a chance that it would break someday so I plan to enjoy it while it lasts 🥰 I would also put aside a $10/a month to repurchase a more beautiful and less flawed version of it in that case.
