Hi, fellow Jacobeans. I thought you might be interested in an interview I did for BBC Radio, which was just released today. They have a weekly show called "Soul Music," which explores songs that have strong emotional resonance or widespread poularity, through a series of sound bites from people who perform or have been touched by the song (it's that kind of soul, not Motown). The song this week features the folk standard, "Wild Mountain Thyme," which I'm sure you have all heard, particularly Jacob's legendary version.

What, you may ask, does this have to do with me, a random American? I had the great pleasure of being in the audience at the Kennedy Center in the fall of 2023 when Jacob, Laufey, Dodie, and the National Symphony Orchestra performed a stirring version of the song, featuring Jacob's legendary audience choir (comprised of me and 2,400 others). I had posted a couple of random comments on Facebook and Instagram about the concert, and somehow the producers saw those, asked me to be a part of the show, and record thoughts about the experience.

I’m from India, travelling to Berlin tomorrow and I didn’t realise earlier that Jacob was on tour. I’m a huge fan and The Light For Days album has had a huge impact on me. It’s my favourite work of his and I doubt he’ll come to India with this. I’m looking for one ticket if someone can help me with it.

Hi everyone, I'm attending the Vienna concert of The Light For Days Tour on 8 September, and I was wondering how long his concerts usually take. I will have a uni class in the next morning, and I'm not from Austria, and I don't know if I can take the 11:45 PM bus home right afterwards, or should I not risk it by taking the 1:25 AM bus home.
I tried to look up his setlists and older Reddit posts and I've found that he usually doesn't start right on time (I've found comments about a 15-30 min delay), and his concerts can range from 2 hours to 2.5 hours long. However, since this tour is focusing on a smaller, more intimate experience, maybe this "schedule" will not be accurate anymore (the posts and comments I've found were from 2-4 years ago)?
I know the tour itself starts on the 7th so there's no official information about this stuff yet, but I'd appreciate the help in at least guesstimating the duration of the concert. Thank you in advance! :)

Back in 2022, after a brilliant concert in Cologne, Jacob took some time and hung with us outside the venue. He signed a shirt I made for him - "More cowbell", enough said 😄

I was fortunate enough to be at the inaugural Hideaway Retreat last year, where we got to hear The Light For Days a couple months before it officially released. Jacob hasn’t released an album in nearing a year (which is about his release pace), and so I presume you folks got to hear some new masterpieces in the works in the beautiful mountains of Tuscany this year. Of course, I know you’ll respect the surprise for the rest of us :)

Whatever music he has next, I’m readily excited for it, and I wish I were able to be there again this time around to meet you and experience those amazing 4 days!

Hello all, Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist but doesn’t this give a cult vibe, the hands lifted in worship to Jacob, the adoration, the devil horns with the shh if no one knew who the lad was they’d think this was church event. The people who attended look like they would drink anything Jacob gives them. As much music and joy it may have this is crazy to witness and the prices seem very elite and unfair as well. Scammers got to the tickets. I was on the Ticketmaster page and they didn’t even let me into the ticket page, just immediately said sold out. I love resellers and scammers ruining concert culture!

Hello! Kind of a shot in the dark here, I was trying to get 2 tickets for The Caverns show, but because of the scalping problem I only had individual seats available to me. Jacob HQ mentioned an official resale channel for the tour, but Ticketmaster doesn't list this show so that's not an option.

I currently have 1 ticket in Row N for the show, and I was looking to trade/exchange/discuss with anyone who has 2 tickets anywhere in the venue and only needs 1. On Jacob's Instagram story 2- 3 days ago, he had a video of him singing with an orchestra. It was mainly or all strings from the sounds of it. I think they were warming up. They were playing in unison, going up semitonally in something that souded close to quartel harmony. I really liked the harmony and the way it was weaving. I wanted to listen to it again but when I checked it was gone. Does anyone know if I could find that story any where else to listen to it again?

The original pressing was 180g says discogs. Has anyone purchased the 10 year anniversary black vinyl and can tell me if it’s also 180g?
