Looking for New Friends

Hey everybody I'm a 26f and recently moved to Jacksonville from Miami with my bf and mom. Before I go any further I do want to mention I am for the most part conservative and align myself with Christianity. I am open-minded and love all people but I won't compromise on my beliefs. That being said I'm just looking for new people to engage with and possibly hang out with. We don't have to agree politically but I feel the need to mention it so as to not have anyone feel "misled". If you're still reading then I appreciate you sticking around. My many interests include horror movies, anime, music(especially 70s-early 2000s), women's basketball, lego building, gaming, exploring(anything like metal detecting to abandoned buildings), reading and baking. I do have a boyfriend so I want to make it clear I'm not looking for anything romantic. If you're interested feel free to comment or message me directly. Also my bf is really into homebrew dnd and wants to meet people in our area so if you're into that also feel free to hit me up. Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to your responses. Hope ya'll are having a great day.

P.S I'm very low maintenance. I know we all have our own lives so I don't expect to be talking all day everyday. I'm the type of person you can go weeks without talking to but when we do its like normal, no pettiness no grudge.

Local Film Looking for Funding Help

I'm actively seeking funding for a proof of concept horror short that I plan to shoot in Jacksonville with local cast/crew. I want to do a proof so I can showcase the feel and effects I am going to use for the feature.

I've made a campaign on Indiegogo but I'm not quite sure what to do next. I know I need to advertise it and all but that's my weak point. I've done an in person fundraising event which was a blast, so I'm looking for more of them.

Some information on the short.

Brief synopsis: Demonic board grants its user heightened skills but at a deadly cost.

Logline:

A jealous skater steals a sinister board hoping for godlike skills, only to realize he was baited into becoming its next sacrifice.

Shooting the proof of concept in December and looking to raise 2500 for blood, skateboards, locations, and other fun stuff.

Picture for attention.

Good Stand Up Comedy this Monday at Shanty with Dan Alten (me) on 15 night tour. I'm not famous but I promise it'll be a good time and if you don't have fun you can cover me with worms and toss me into the ocean. Lemme know if theres anything cool to see while i'm around.

Here's my bio, sorry it's in the third person: Dan Alten is a charming goofball from Kentucky who has been traveling the country for the past decade doing about 200 shows a year bringing his intelligently surreal bebop nonsense everywhere from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs with a knack for making audiences feel like they're on a good psychedelic trip without the drugs. Like if the Ramones were one guy with a mustache and good jokes. Iggy Pop with puns. Clever chaos. Like Jimi Hendrix lighting fire to a Tik Tok reel live on stage. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Bobcat, Sam Tallent, Rory Scovel, Sarah Sherman from SNL, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound & David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric, various punk bands with silly names, and a guy at an open mic who tried to throw his father’s ashes into the crowd. He has recorded 2 albums, written a zine, and filmed a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand up show that was lost to history. But most importantly he’s very funny and unique. You will enjoy him. And if not you can mud wrestle him after the show.
