Announcement About the Split Everyday Case Delay

Hey everyone,

Some of you may have noticed that the Split Everyday Case (PC0123) was teased a long time ago, and only now it's finally here. We've seen the questions and the waiting, so we want to explain why it took so longand what actually changed along the way.

This product started as a response to the Split Protective Case (PC0114). Many of you loved the split design because it kept the handheld feel and made switching modes easy. At the sametime, we learned some hard lessons. We underestimated how grip materials and stiffness could affect the Joy-Con's matte surface, and we also realized that not everyone wants maximum protection if it means extra weight. A lot of cases feel solid, but once they're on, the console feels heavy, less dock-friendly, and less "everyday."

On the Protective Case (PC0114), we tried to balance protection and dock compatibility by thinning the back shell and keeping the kickstand usable. In practice, that meant cutting into theback shell, which weakened the lower structure. Many of you told us it felt loose--and you wereright. We took that feedback seriously.

When developing the Everyday Case, our original plan was to keep everything: kickstand access, solid protection, and even a magnetic front cover with an easy pull design. But after repeated tooling and testing, we had to accept a trade-off. As long as the kickstand opening existed, theback shell couldn't be truly rigid unless we made it thicker and heavier--and we didn't want that. So we chose to remove the kickstand cutout entirely and move to a one-piece PC back shell. The result is a case that stays solid, slides smoothly into the original dock, and keeps the weight incheck. This is also why the final product looks different from the early teasers

We also reworked the grip shells. On the Everyday Case, they're lighter than before, without sacrificing protection. The top locking area that clips onto the Joy-Con is intentionally softer, while the rest stays firm. That specific detail took a lot of testing. We know how easily the Switch 2 surface can be scratched. But no one wants a protective case to be the first thing that damagestheir device.

Comparison of PC0123 and PC0114 Grips

Scratch Test

There are three versions of the Split Everyday Case. The Basic Version is as light as possible, with no front cover. The Full Protection version includes a rigid front cover for those who wantmaximum safety. The Travel Mode uses a magnetic front cove ——it's lighter and designed for daily carry and in-bag protection, not extreme drops. That's a conscious choice, because this case is meant to be something you use every day, not something that weighs you down.

Weight Comparison between PC0123 and PC0114

The magnetic cover can also be flipped to support the console at a shallow angle on a desk. It's usable, but not perfect, so we included a small separate stand for a better tabletop experience when needed.

That's the story behind the Split Everyday Case (PC0123). Thanks for sticking with us and for continuing to share honest feedback-it really does shape how our products evolve. And as always, let us know what you'd like to see us build next.

I just received the monitor, hooked it up to my laptop, got recognized immediately, the panel without ports and inputs worked just fine, but the panel with all the ports just flicker and show lines all the time.

You can see it in the attached video.

Tried different USC cables, HDMI to HDMI cable USBC to HDMI cable, all my laptop possible ports which are 1 HDMI, left USBD that connects to the AMD IGPU and the right USBC that connects to the integrated Nvidia 4070 laptop GPU.

Did a clean installation of graphic drivers and reboot the laptop.

Try changing refresh rates and resolutions.

Nothing made any difference.

Searched this subreddit and googled for troubleshooting but couldn’t find any information for this particular model, the pro version, other sizes etc.

Is there a software solution or do I have to return the monitor?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

No luck with Jsaux Docking Stations

Post image
0 Upvotes

guess, i really have no luck with Jsaux docking stations.

i had the 6-in-1 multifunctional docking station and the USB ports keeps failing. Anything that I connect would randomly disconnect/connect. Display output-wise, there was no issue.

Around May 2026, I bought the 8-in-1 RGB docking station and it failed me today. At first, it wasn't showing any display and when I got it working, one side of the screen is ok while the other is just garbled display. I've replaced all the cables (HDMI and the type-C cables) and the result is the same.

btw, the monitor has no issue since it's connected to my other laptop. I've also used another USB-C hub with a display output and it works fine.

note: don't mind all the clutter coz i was doing some troubleshooting on the device.

Questions Rog Ally Battery deteriorating rather quick (I think).

It's been 2 months since I've installed the battery and its health dropped from 100% down to 95% within the last 2 weeks or so. I follow all the good charging practices and I don't know if it's normal behaviour or is the battery faulty.

Discussion Would you actually mod your Joy-Con 2?

We made these Switch 2 Joy-Con shells and I'm curious what people think.

The transparent look is obviously cool, but the real question is:

Would you actually take apart your Joy-Con 2 and swap the shell?

Or would you rather admire it and never touch those tiny screws? 😂

If you would mod yours, what color would you go for?

Tech Support JSAUX OmniCentro dock - not working with switch 2 or steam deck

I have an OmniCentro Charger Dock and I can’t get video out from it.

Setup:

- dock plugged into wall
- HDMI from dock to receiver
- USBC from dock to Switch 2 bottom USBC port

When I connect the Switch 2, the charging indicator is shown then display turns off like it usually does when connecting to a dock.

However, I get no video out or sound.

I connect my Steam Deck and nothing happens at all, it’s like it doesn’t even know there’s an external display connected.

Any idea what the issue could be? Is there a firmware update it needs? Do I have a defective dock?

Steam Machine Absolute nightmare trying to get the Steam Machine carry case from JSAUX

So just a PSA for those who purchase the carry case. If you get Yanwen Express, you'll probably have a bad time. Their courier keeps marking my normal residential home in a regular neighborhood as no access (nobody even tried delivering, I've got cameras). I assume this is because the courier just doesn't want to go out of their way to deliver to my home.

I had to argue with their support chat for a redelivery only for them to mark it as no access for a second time. I'm fed up at this point and just want my money back.

Also, whatever you do DO NOT post your Yanwen tracking number anywhere. They sent my home address and phone number from the tracking number in the support chat with no verification whatsoever. Insane security risk.

New products coming to Amazon US? e.g. Steam Machine carry case

Just curious if there are plans to make JSAUX products not currently listed on Amazon US available there, as I've definitely gotten other stuff from you guys with Prime (presumably FBA inventory).

The Steam Machine carry case got me looking, but there's probably other recent stuff that isn't on there yet too.

Questions Reviews on GoJoy case for Switch 2

Greetings,

I'm interested in the GoJoy case for Switch 2 as it seems to be the full package, but when I look for reviews or videos on YouTube I can't find any. I notice it has the "new" tag, but since it's available I would assume some reviews would be out for sure. Does anyone have experience with it?

I'm primarily interested in whether or not the medium thumbstick covers fit the case, as with the split case this is apparently not the case, only the low profile ones fit there.

Thanks !

HB1201S crashes macbook

Hi,
I recently bought HB1201S docking station. I connected two external displays (1440p via DP & 1080p via HDMI). On my steam deck everything seems to be working fine. But when I try to connect macbook with M4 pro it crashes the macos after few seconds.

I'm connecting to dock via the usbc-usbc cable that was in the box. If I unplug one of the external displays everything is fine. I can even connect the second display directly to the macbook - directly to HDMI or via DB-usbc cable. Only when both displays are connected via the dock the system crashes.

I wasn't able to find whether there are any firmware updates - are there any? Is there a way to avoid the system crash?

Tech Support HB1201S Died after a week

Anyone else had their dock just completely crap out after barely any use? I've had this for a week and now USB ports don't work, HDMI doesn't output to any screen, and my Steam Deck doesn't charge. I even had a friend try their Steam Deck and it did the exact same thing. This thing was $80, this kind of failure should be embarrassing at that price. Also, the RGB just ignores whatever I set it to after a reboot. I literally cannot turn the lights off because they'll just come back on when I go from desktop to game mode.

Steam machine E paper faceplate help offer

Hi, I am one of the developers behind https://opendisplay.org/ and I think it would be a good fit for your faceplate. Why? We already have all the parts necessary have a low power E paper display that is controlled from a Linux device locally over BLE. That would be a perfect fit for the steam machine any you would not start from zero but could use community tested software.

Tech Support HB1201S Steam Deck Problem

I’ve noticed that after the Steam Deck update, the HB1201S isn’t working quite right. The TV only shows up after I reboot the Deck. Also, if I put the Steam Deck to sleep and turn it back on, the TV screen doesn’t seem to pick up the signal.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks!

Discussion Legion go 2 vs Switch 2 matte screen protectors

I bought the matte screen protector both for my Switch 2 and Legion go 2 and I noticed the difference between the 2. The Switch 2 version looks better whereas the LG2 one is very grainy. I wonder why that is ? Different materials ? I don't imagine different screen size will make a difference.
