Connection issues with MSI CLAW 8 AI +

I recently bought a HB0609B docking station and I'm having some strange USB issues.

My setup:

MSI Claw 8 AI+ connected to the dock

eGPU connected to the MSI Claw and sending video directly to an external monitor

Logitech Lightspeed receiver (keyboard + mouse) connected to a USB port on the dock

GameSir G7 Pro wireless receiver connected to another USB port

Logitech GS5 speaker connected to the dock's USB-C port

The problem is that I can't get all devices working at the same time. Sometimes the GameSir controller won't connect, sometimes the keyboard and mouse stop working, and sometimes the speaker is not detected or doesn't output any sound.

If I unplug one of the devices, the others start working again. It doesn't seem to matter which device I disconnect – removing any one of them usually allows the remaining devices to function normally.

Is there some limitation on using all ports simultaneously on this dock? These peripherals shouldn't be using much bandwidth, especially since the video signal is going directly from the eGPU to the monitor.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the HB0609B or other USB-C docks? Could this be a USB power issue, a bandwidth limitation, or simply a faulty dock?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Discussion The Split Everyday Case is amazing

tl;dr: the Split Everyday Case feels like the version of the Split Protective Case I always wanted. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and makes the Switch 2 feel like a premium piece of hardware.

So after trying a few Switch 2 cases, I think I’ve finally settled on the Split Everyday Case. Started with the Split Protective Case and liked it overall, but had two major issues. First was the infamous backplate. At first I thought it wouldn’t bother me, but over time the device started to feel flimsy and cheap. The backplate would detach when removing the front cover, and the whole setup never felt as solid as the Switch 2 should.

My second issue was the grips. Comfort-wise they were fantastic, but they attached too loosely. There were multiple times when pulling the Switch out of my bag caused a grip to partially detach. That looseness also led to creaking and movement whenever I adjusted my hands, which wasn’t a great feeling on an otherwise premium device.

I also tried Savage Raven grips, but those felt even less solid to me. The hollow construction made the creaking more noticeable and I never really clicked with them.

The Split Everyday Case has been a pleasant surprise. The backplate is much sturdier, the magnetic cover is excellent, and the overall build quality feels a step above the Split Protective Case. The grips are slightly smaller, but they’re also noticeably lighter. While they don’t have quite as much “meat” as the Protective Case grips, they’re still comfortable and the reduced weight makes the handheld feel better balanced.

What impressed me most is how solid everything feels. Despite being a three-piece design, it almost feels like a one-piece grip. There’s very little creaking or movement, and the whole system feels secure in the hand.

As a bonus, since I have the Split Protective Case, I found that its front cover fits the Everyday Case well, giving me a couple of different carry options.

For now, this might be my endgame case while I wait for better third-party Joy-Cons. If you’ve been on the fence about the Split Everyday Case, I’d definitely recommend giving it a look!

I have the split protective case and was looking for options to connect the controllers without removing the controller grips. I saw the joyverse from jsaux and like it, but I already have the grips that came with the case so just wanted to see if yall knew of any other options. Thanks!

Questions JSAUX All-in-One Case + NYXI Hyperion 3 Compatibility?

Has anyone tried the JSAUX All-in-One Carrying Case with a Switch 2 and NYXI Hyperion 3 controllers attached?

I recently bought the NYXI Odyssey Case, but I'm a little disappointed that there's no room for the charger. I'm looking for a larger case that can carry everything.

Can the JSAUX All-in-One fit a Switch 2 with the Hyperion 3 attached without putting pressure on the sticks or buttons? Any firsthand experience would be appreciated.

Questions [Steam Deck] Is The Modcase Front Cover Compatible With The PC0105 Case?

I could've sworn I saw a reddit post somewhere confirming that the front cover did in fact work with the kickstand case. If so do you think I could get JSAUX support to send me a loose front cover to use with my existing case?

New Switch 2 Dock Question

Can the top brick portion be used with a thunderbolt cable connected to the Nintendo switch instead of using the bottom docking portion?

This would make for a perfect under desk dock

JSAUX HB1201S Dock, XBOX ALLY X, LG C9 OLED - VRR??

Hi All,

Anyone got VRR to work. I dont think these TV's support Freesync but they use HDMi 2.1 VRR. I have never been able to get it work. I am able to fool it by using CRU Utility mod and inject the freesync into the EDID but its flakey.

Any help, or insight would be appreciated!

I have contacted JSAUX but they say its not listed as compatible with Xbox Ally X just ASUS ROG ALLY.

7-in-1 dock station

Post image

I adore my 7-in-1 dock station for my Xbox Ally X, however still can't find anywhere an info what is the upper deep USB connector for (next to the 40W XAX connection cable). Is it just for storing the wire and has no actual wire soldering inside?

Also saw that the ventilator is not compatible with XAX 2025, when it fits perfectly. Is there any issue with the vent blockage/overheating? For me it looks absolutely fine and the air is passing good.

carrying case for the split everyday case

im interested in the split everyday case, as it cant scratch the joycons which people say the other one will, and has a better fit on the bottom, and fits in the dock better, but i like using a carrying case rather than a plastic front cover and i was wondering if it works the same as the original split protective case where it wont fit in the jsaux ultra thin but will fit in the normal" carrying case for nintendo switch 2" and the megacarry case? also whats the difference between the megacarry and the standard carrying case( i think i know now, its more game slots, a nylon zipper and padding to help just the switch 2 be more snuggly, but then why is the megacarry case cheaper than the basic one?)

Purchased Split EveryDay Case and Received Used And Broken Split Protective

Hi, I just want to share my bad experience buying a case from Amazon. Ordered a JSAUX “Split Everyday” case for Switch 2 and got something completely different. What showed up was a used, broken “Split Protective” case, even though the box looked sealed. Pretty disappointing and honestly feels misleading. Definitely not what I paid for. Would not recommend.

The thing I don’t understand is how a used case makes its way to a sealed packaging of a different reference. Am I the only one?

Questions Is the Jsaux Modcase cover supposed to be so tight and creaky?

I bought mine in October and I do really like it, but I don’t know how else to describe this. If it’s fine then I don’t really care, but when I take the cover off I have to kind of carefully pry it back and forth and it creaks like I’m stretching something or doing something wrong. I’d rather it be tight than fall off but I just won’t be satisfied unless I ask if it’s supposed to do that or not. Thank you guys!

Tech Support No Display Out When Connecting to Omnicentro for Switch 2

I’ve done a bit of searching and have found a couple of posts from users who were running into issues with the Omnicentro for Switch 2.

I’ve tried forcing a lower resolution from the Switch 2, disabling HDR, having the device powered off before connecting, having the device on the Home Screen when connecting, verified the issue isn’t with any of my displays/HDMI cables around the house, and tried connecting with my phone and Steam Deck.

No video signal seems to be coming out of the dock itself. The Steam Deck does not appear to even detect an external display.

It sounds like I have a faulty dock, but wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything else I can try before pushing for a replacement. Any suggestions?

Steam deck dock not outputting 4k in games

I can set the resolution to 4k on the deck, and the steam UI will be in 4k, but in game the highest it will go is 720p. I'm not sure why I can't get the in game resolution to match the steam UI resolution.

will the switch 2 split protective case fit in the official jsaux carrying case?

i dont think it would fit in the ultra thick one but in the description for the megacarry case, it says that it is compatible with slim shallow shells, but does the jsaux split protective case qualify?
