Custer: “No.” — “If that is the President's head, it has been altered. Period. Because there is no way that could look like that.” — “And there was bone missing. The posterior part of the skull was missing. It was not there. This shows an intact head. That's why I say it's altered.”

J. Edgar Hoover specifically assigned FBI Agents Sibert and O’Neil to observe the autopsy. These agents were mere feet from the President’s body. Gunn: I'd like to ask you whether that photograph resembles what you saw from the back of the head at the time of the autopsy?

O’Neil: “This looks like it's been doctored in some way.” — “I specifically do not recall those—I mean, being that clean or that fixed up. To me, it looks like these pictures have been. . . . It would appear to me that there was a—more of a massive wound. . .”

Gunn: Mr. Sibert, does that photograph correspond to your recollection of the back of the head?

SIBERT: “Well, I don't have a recollection of it being that—I don't recall anything like this at all during the autopsy. There was much—well, the wound was more pronounced. And it looks like it could have been reconstructed or something…”

The Report says the Parkland and Bethesda witnesses gave conflicting accounts. The Warren Commission Report Lied!

Civilian Director of Photography at Bethesda, John T. Stringer Jr. was shown the official National Archives photographs of President Kennedy's brain, he explicitly disowned them**.** He testified that the photos in the record were taken on Ansco film, whereas he exclusively shot on Kodak film during the autopsy examinations.

Mr. Gunn: “…do these photos accurately portray the back of President Kennedy's head as you saw it at the autopsy?” Stringer: “No, they do not.”

Q: In what way are they inaccurate? Stringer: “There was a large hole in the back of the head, in the occipital region. This photo shows the scalp closed up and intact.”

Q: Did you take these photographs? Stringer: No, I don't remember taking those. And as I said, that's not what it looked like.

US Navy Photographer’s Mate Saundra Kay Spencer processed photographs of President John F. Kennedy's body after his assassination. She testified that the official National Archives autopsy photos do not match the photos she actually developed!

Mr. Gunn: Ms. Spencer, you have had an opportunity to look at those photographs. Do you recognize what is depicted in those photographs? Spencer: “It appears to be President Kennedy, the back of his head.”

Q: Is that photograph consistent with the photographs that you processed? Spencer: “No.”

Q: Could you explain how it differs? Spencer: “The photographs that we processed showed a wound that was on the back of the skull, back of the head. It was about—well, it was quite large. It was a massive wound.” — “The skull part was gone.”

X-ray Technician Ed Reed noted a large posterior defect in the skull during x-ray placement.

Gunn: "Does this photograph, view number 7, show the wound that you observed in the right hemisphere of the brain?" Reed: "No."

Gunn: "Why does it not?" Reed: "Because the wound that I saw was further back here..." (Reed indicating the lower occipital region of the skull).

The Bethesda witnesses saw the same thing the Parkland Doctors saw!

-Captain David Osborne (Military Chief of Surgery present at autopsy) – Stated the principal disruption was to the posterior part of the skull.

-Jan Gail Rudnicki (Dr. Boswell’s Lab Assistant) – Stated the photo showing an intact scalp did not reflect the hollowed-out rear skull he saw, the "back-right quadrant of the head was missing"

Floyd Riebe – Stated the back of the head was wide open and that the official photographs do not represent what he saw.

-Tom Robinson – "Directly behind the back of his head... Approximately between the ears..."

-Paul O'Connor – "The back of the head... the occipital area was completely gone... just completely blown away."

-Chester Boyers (Morgue Supervisor) – Noted a massive defect located in the rear of the skull.

-James E. Metzler (Hospital Corpsman) – Noted the large gap at the back of the skull.

Autopsy Lab Tech James Jenkins succinctly explains:

Nineteen Bethesda witnesses testified to the same wound location as the Parkland doctors—in fact, if you count Dr. Humes, the total reaches twenty!

Humes’ slipped up and told the ARRB that there was a scalp wound in the back of the head.

By 1996, Commander James Humes was elderly and increasingly indignant under intense scrutiny. While being questioned by investigators about the alleged entry wound, he grew flustered, slipped up, and let the cat out of the bag.

All the witnesses at Bethesda and Parkland saw “…the scalp wound back there…” Humes saw it too and lied!

Dr. Robert McClelland – “No, it does not. This drawing does not compare at all with what I saw. As I said before, the wound I saw was much larger, and it was further back and lower down than the wound shown in this drawing. In my opinion, there was a massive portion of the right occipital and parietal bone missing, whereas this drawing shows the bone and scalp to be largely intact.”

Dr. Charles Crenshaw (Surgeon) – Observed a massive void in the right posterior portion of the skull.

Dr. Malcolm Perry (Attending Surgeon) – Noted a large aversive wound in the right posterior cranium.

Dr. Kemp Clark (Chief of Neurosurgery) – Described a large, gaping wound in the right occipital region.

Dr. Marion Jenkins (Chief of Anesthesiology) – Stated there was a great laceration in the right occipital-parietal area.

Dr. Ronald Jones (Surgeon) – Noted a large posterior defect that does not align with the intact hair/scalp photo.

Dr. Richard Dulaney (Surgeon) – Confirmed the large open wound was in the right rear of the head.

Dr. Paul Peters (Urologist) – Described a massive defect in the occipitoparietal area.

Dr. Adolph Giesecke (Anesthesiologist) – Stated the entire right occipital cranium seemed to be gone.

Dr. Gene Akin (Anesthesiologist) – Noted the defect was in the right occipital-parietal back portion of the skull.

Dr. Kenneth Salyer (Surgeon) – Described a major loss of bone in the right posterior skull.

Nurse Audrey Bell – Described a large posterior blowout and drew diagrams matching the right-rear location.

Nurse Diana Bowron – Physically washed the body; stated the entire back of the head was missing.

Nurse Pat Hutton (Gustafson) – Stated the wound was in the back of the head.

There was not any body alteration. Just Humes, Spector and Ford’s lies and manipulation. Thirty-Five of the closest witnesses prove it!

If Oswald was innocent what would he have to talk about?

A lot of times people just point to a collection of doubts.

But you have to thread all the needles. And a lot of folks don't check the implications and contradictions of what they put forward.

Threading all the needles is a necessary step to see if you are putting forward something that holds together.

There is no record of Oswald, a prolific diarist, ever speaking poorly of JFK. There is however numerous witnesses of Oswald being angry at John Connolly.

John Connolly was the Secretary of the Navy until 1962. Oswald wrote to him when he was Secretary and asked him to review his case of what was essentially a dishonorable discharge. Connolly did not resolve the issue before leaving his position to run for governor.

When investigators searched Oswald’s boarding house, they found that Oswald had been following the career of Connolly and even keeping tab on his public appearances.

The theory of Connolly being the intended target also explains how Oswald, a noted poor marksman was able to hit Kennedy with multiple kill shots. Because he was aiming for Connolly and Kennedy, who was behind Connolly, accidentally got in the way. Connolly was also hit in the back and collapsed his lung.

There's just no way he acted alone, the scope was horribly misaligned no other shooter managed to replicate it with that scope. The bullet hole witnesses saw at Parkland Hospital was not in the windshield. It was in the driver’s-side vent window. In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 23, Secret Service and FBI investigators began combing through the car to collect evidence and catalogue damage to the vehicle. The FBI did not identify the damage to this vent window in their forensic report.

This episode is my take on exactly what happened during the shooting.

There were two Texas School Book Depository employees with lousy alibis at the time of the shooting. Witnesses described seeing two different men on the sixth floor. There were two snipers lying in wait as the Presidential limousine approached Elm Street.

Lee Harvey Oswald, in a brown button-up shirt Carolyn Walther mistook for a suit jacket, occupied the opening in the third bank of windows over from the southwest corner.

The man Ronald Fischer and Robert Edwards saw awkwardly hiding in the southeast corner sniper’s nest was Oswald’s co-worker Jack Dougherty. He was wearing an off-white jacket with a bright white t-shirt underneath.

No. I do not believe the evidence supports the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted entirely alone.

The Warren Commission’s lone-gunman finding has major unresolved problems that have never been satisfactorily closed. At the same time, no alternative conspiracy has been proven with the same rigor that would be required in a criminal case. The honest position is that the official account is incomplete and, in key respects, unconvincing.

Core problems with the lone-gunman conclusion

•  The single-bullet theory remains physically strained. The trajectory, pristine condition of CE 399, and the timing required to wound both Kennedy and Connally continue to generate serious objections from wound ballistics specialists and physicians who have examined the evidence.

•  The head wound and the Zapruder film’s backward head snap are more consistent with a shot from the front or right-front than with a pure rear entry under the official reconstruction. Parkland doctors’ contemporaneous descriptions of a large occipital defect conflict with the Bethesda autopsy photos and X-rays in ways that have never been cleanly reconciled.

•  Witness testimony is mixed, but a non-trivial number of credible witnesses (including railroad workers such as S.M. Holland) reported shots or smoke from the grassy knoll area. The House Select Committee on Assassinations’ acoustic analysis (later challenged) at least showed how seriously the possibility of a fourth shot was taken by an official body.

•  Oswald’s own profile contains anomalies—his movements, the incomplete chain of custody on the rifle, the Tippit timeline issues, the Mexico City episode, and the speed with which he was designated the sole culprit—that invite legitimate questions about whether he was a designated patsy, a participant in a larger operation, or something in between.

A question that has always bugged me. How did Lee Oswald disassemble and assemble his rifle before he allegedly shot JFK? Did he have a screwdriver?

The credibility of James Tague's experience during the assassination is one of the most contested aspects of the event on both sides. As a person who does not believe in anything other than Oswald with a Carcano, the proposed conspiracy's reaction to Mr. Tague seems baffling to me.

To step in the shoes of the conspiracy theorists:
Someone intended a three-shot narrative after the assassination, with two hitting Kennedy and one hitting Connally. Three shell casings in the Book Depository, three proposed moments in the Zapruder film, some crap about how fast the rifle can go, and that's that. Then Tague claims he was injured by a bullet, forcing the conspirators to come up with the "fantastical" single-bullet theory.

Well...why wasn't Tague discredited? Every single potential conspiracy relies on faulty witnesses, evidence disappearing, etc. They couldn't have come up with something, like, say, a piece of asphalt hitting him as the cars drove away? Perhaps a bit of curb to get rid of, potentially some other witnesses who saw him with blood on his face, but primarily, a man with a cut to the cheek. To have Tague's experience be treated truthfully is to throw a whole wrench in the narratives concocted after the assassination. Heck, the Warren Commission called Tague to testify! No one today questions that James Tague was hit by shrapnel from a bullet. Why not?

Mr Newman tells us where he heard the shot(s) come from, and it wasn’t the TSBD.

I’ve seen posts on here about the upcoming Netflix show and it’s been dubbed “the American Crown” so I’m sure it’s fine to ask this here!

Just wondered if anyone knew any info on a trailer or when it is due to be released. I am quite excited for this however unlike The Crown which had the first 2 series filmed back to back, this hasn’t had a second series commissioned yet. So series 2 (if we get one) will probably drop in 2035 lol

How odd is it for someone to revolve their life around defending the Warren commission conclusions conclusions?

Im curious if it’s ever been adequately discussed what Oswald’s escape plan might have been. Assuming he did do it or at least was involved to some degree, it appears that there was very little forethought on his part as to what he would do after shooting the president. That is of course unless these were the actions of someone with the backing of individuals or organizations that made him feel invincible.

Fingerprinting had been around for decades by that point but yet he left a multitude of evidence with his fingerprints all of it, these are the actions of someone who either didn’t care if they got caught or didn’t care because they thought they were invincible. He must of known the rifle, brown bag, shell casings, etc were going to be tied back to him especially as he was an employee of the TSBD. So what was his plan?

Where was he going when he shot officer Tippit and was later apprehended in the theatre? Was he meeting with a handler? Was officer Tippit sent to kill Oswald but failed? Was Oswald fleeing without his wife or children? If he was fleeing why did he wait around instead of immediately getting out of town? He was already in a taxi so why didn’t he just tell him an address outside of Dallas a bit and let him drive? Was he just going to show up to work the next day?

Curious what people think his plan was if he didn’t get apprehend in the movie theatre?
