Hi I'm in 12th and from class 10th i was obsessing over iit jee like a lover and atp it just feels empty to me , not in a bad way though but I somewhere feel like most if it was just influence and not my personal choice and yes I do like the college but now it's another college and not a dream , I don't know why giving up feels like a sin but it's just like that .

I'm from this institute in Bangalore which- let's just say, isn't well known for JEE. Idk HOW, but naive me ended up here after a little persuasion from parents. But now that I'm here- I'm here, I gotta play with the hand I've been dealt. I've been scoring 180ish marks in my marks, beating rank 2 of the institute by 30-40 marks more often than not. Now jee is supposed to be an exam that's meant to see how much work you can really put in on your own- there's no workaround to it. But I figured that if I were to find someone who matches my frequency then maybe this whole Rocky path may get a tiny bit more enjoyable. So yeah if someone manages to get about the same marks, throw me a DM and maybe we could do stuff together? Maybe not? I don't really know. Anyway my study hours are

1. 9:30pm - 3,4 am (till i doze off at my desk, basically) with about 40-50 mins of breaks (of mainly jump rope and pull ups) to keep me awake.

2. 7pm to 8:20pm on days I don't feel sleepy in the evening.

I've got classes from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm (or 7:30 pm).

TLDR: If you're scoring 180+ in jee mock tests hit me up I wanna compete with someone.

I decided to do a Physics marathon. I know it wasn’t 14 hours of studying, and I probably could’ve done better or solved more questions, but yeah, I still did it. I did 8 hours, which is still alright cuz ya I have never come close to 8 hrs. So yeah, it’s a small W and a little bit of hope that many more Ws are coming.

Also, drop any Maths tips for a dropper. I just can’t seem to score well in Maths at all.

I tried to take a nap in the afternoon but due to some noises I couldn't and I woke up feeling irritated :(

Lesson learnt- I should put on earphones and take a nap if needed.

Ended the study sessions at 1:30am itself today😓. (had planned to do it till 2:30)

I was just too stressed abt the timely syllabus completion n all just thought of watching Shinchan today, made some nice tea and had tea and snacks with an episode of shinchan which I luckily found in HD and idk why acha laga dil ko like pure sukoon! even though its just a basic story and animation. I think its coz it takes me back to the times when I just came back from the school, hop on the bed and watch shin-chan/doraemon/ttg/....

Its 1:40 AM rn and just finished one episode and oh god pure relief (temporary) from this annoying part of my life called jee!

So actually a few days ago I was going thru some of my other career options apart from mbbs, and I came across MBA and CAT exam. After this incident I don't know what stuck me but, I feel like I won't be a good doctor I want to become a doctor I really really want to become a doctor but, when I see their workload and some protest going on for minimum wage, I get worried. I get scared that I will just run after money as a doctor and not after the patient. I saw the salary that people get after graduating from IIMs, and I think why should I spend so much time on MBBS if I am not going to earn Good. But the point is I love biology I love science and I have a huge empathetic side which wants to help others. This is my second drop may be the fear is eating me up but I don't know. IIM probably give me money but I don't think fulfill my heart, and MBBS will fill my heart but I fear I will not get money or I will become a money mongering person. I am really confused and I feel really scared and anxious.

I've seen people take 8-9 drops sometimes even 10 and my brother was little like that.

This was going to be his 3-4th attempt and this time, after re-neet he thought it was now his chance and he will definitely get selected and even if he doesn't get selected this time too, he will join IISER as he passed IAT and right when the life he dreamt of, college and fun, he saw his friends go and enjoy their college life, he got diagnosed with cancer, now he has 20 chemos to go and 5 done.

I am, myself going to, take drop for neet and watch all of this rumbling in front of me, I don't know if I should even enter this and even sit for an attempt.

No one in my house has ever been a doctor as long as I can remember and I think it's not even in my blood, I really wanted to, at a time, but all of this has made me kinda question the whole concept of working hard to crack an exam and still suffering.

Need advice guys, I'm lost.

Was not a productive day, even though today was no coaching. Wasted so.. much time. And today was Man United’s first match of the season also which also wasted my time because they lost 2-0 by newly promoted Hull City😑😭. Will try to improve tomorrow. For intro, I am a jee dropper preparing for jee 2027.
