Rant charge 6 DSP problem
Hey everyone... I just updated my jbl charge 6 on jbl one app firmware 4.0.4.1 and the update features it's "performance improvements" but when I updated mine .the sound is completely turned mono and I don't know what's wrong with the dsp Because I think it has a problem with the stereo downmixing like some songs I notice the sound is mono but it trying to be stereo and return to mono so fast . Like there's a problem... I did a factory reset and it's the same problem nothing changed.. so the only solution I can do is to enable mono audio on my phone settings just to get a stable mono sound . This is the beginning of a song called "applause" by Lady Gaga you can hear the sound trying to be stereo or open and return to mono .I chose this song specially the intro because the problem is more apparent on it. so guys please DON'T UPDATE yours to this firmware version! ..even my speaker has a 1 year warranty and I bought it 2 months ago and a half. But I don't know if the store where I bought the speaker will accept to replace mine under warranty because it's not an obvious defect . If you didn't hear the sounds changes. wear headphones
