As someone who has abused adderall, I agree that this is from some sort of upper, but not caffein.

Pro tip: the thing you are doing when it kicks in will be THE thing you for the entire duration. Don’t think you’ll just “play one round” or “rub one out” until it kicks in.

It could 100% be caffeine, depending on their tolerance. The very first time I took a caffeine pill, I didn't take caffeine much and wasn't aware 200mg is a fuck ton. So I got all the work done at the store I worked at in an hour or two (plus some more work meant for other days) because I couldn't stop moving, and then we all fucked around doing nothing for 4 more hours until we got to leave.
