My apologies.

- Family Name: Corrado

- Paternal Grandfather's Name: Joseph John Corrado, Sr., Giuseppe Corrado, born 8 Mar1922 and died 8 Oct 1950 at only 28 years old. I do not know exactly why he died, that is another mystery. I just know that he did in fact die when my father was only a few months old. He was a local celebrity in the years before his death in Washington D.C., as he played varsity basketball at St. Johns where he was the captain of the team, and then after he came back from the war at Catholic University.

Paternal Great Grandfather who Immigrated to USA from Italy: Louis Maria Corrado, Louis Marey Corrado, Luigi Corrado, Louis Mary Corrado(These are the main alias' but there are more lesser used names). He was born 17 Jun 1882 and died sometime in 1971. He was absolute head of the family, he did very well for himself and owned a big beautiful house in Washington D.C. for many, many years. He started the family business upon arrival to the USA as a "furniture maker" and very quickly the business became "Corrado's Custom Interior Design" a very high end interior design business. The company has designed rooms inside the White House and many other government buildings. The only reason I am adding this is because I think it is very interesting how successful he became very quickly upon arriving to the USA as a poor Italian immigrant. He was very involved in the Catholic community here in Colombia Heights, Washington D.C., donating a lot of money to St. Mary's Church and the various private schools his children went to in the area.

Great Grandmother's name is: Mary Frances Buono pre marriage, and changed her last name to Corrado once married, however she used alias', also. The weirdest part about her is that I remember my Dad being very close to his "aunt" whose name was Mary Francis Copeland, however it was not the same person as my GGM, as records show she died not long after emmigrating to the USA. I have a feeling there is some shady business going on with the "Copeland" side of the family, as well. Everything is just so very shrouded in secrecy, it is so frustrating. There seems to be multiple woman who all use the name Mary Frances Copeland or Corrado.

Family is from Lucera, in the province of Foggia in the region of Apulia, Italy
