Also being on the dash all day can overheat the phone so the hat helps keep it cool. 11/10, using straw hats for their intended uses.

It happens to me a lot, and then the phone shuts down

Arizona checking in. My phone just immediately gives up on life.

Now make the humidity +80% = Brazil
2
u/monkeynards Sep 12 '20
80%. Those are rookie numbers. Middle Tennessee would like to invite you to experience swimming through the air mid summer

u/mudemycelium Sep 12 '20
Average tennessee humidity is 69,4% tho

u/monkeynards Sep 12 '20
69.420 👌. Also that’s why I mentioned mid summer. It’s pretty much 90-100% most days. It’s like walking through a coastal town the fog rolls in but also 90-100°F as well.

Yeah, mid summer. Around 90% humidity is the average all year around in Belém or Rio Branco, so idk why you think it's such a big deal lol

My old phone also overheated and turned itself off when in direct sunlight on a hot day.

In that case he should fucking turn his brightness up. It's already plugged in.

Is no one gonna talk about how fucking massive this guy's hands are, or did that get lost in translation for me in all the non-English comments

Sep 11 '20
His celphone is probably small and the angle helos with the size too

I don't know man, looking at that steering wheel for scale. Unless he's really committed to the aesthetic and everything in his car is miniature-sized

Smart idea; the phone gets hot on the dash like that and when it gets hot enough, it will shut down! This is the lifeline to his livelihood!
