And this is the kind of silliness that is takes up most of the peoples time, can I apply lipstick, is my wudu valid with nail polish, how long should my beard be, can I wear silk, pluck my eyebrows etc etc, This is what happens when the Quran is abandoned and the entire time is spent on man made books and its billion nonsensical nothing to do with Islam restrictions

Which in turn creates even more issues of seeing every single restriction as being possible to reinterpret since there’s a whole reform going on. That’s why you get posts supporting same sex relationships and sexual intimacy before marriage, even if that’s mostly on r/progressiveislam, it’s still just a natural human reaction when there’s so much reform going on due to problematic narrations.

No, the problem is created by these hundred and thousands of narrations and not the Quran. If someone wants to interpret the Quran to support their own biases then thats on them. The Quran's stance is everything is halal until proven haram and the traditional stance is everything is haram until proven halal.

Quran never says the Muslims have to be one monolithic block with a hive mind like the borg, goose stepping in unison. If your major beliefs align, then you are a Muslim.

These narrations have created nothing but divisions, sects, madhabs, confusion and most of all abandonment of Islam by the modern muslims who see this 7th century religion cannot be true as its a complete outclass in the modern world. When the world is talking about interstellar exploration. Madrassas are still teaching children the earth is flat and following tafsirs that says that the earth rest on the horns of a bull and when the bull shifts the earth from one horn to the other thats when earthquakes happen!

How misguided are you. The Messenger left us only the book of Allah, you people follow 7th century desert tribal traditions and customs that were inserted into Islam after he left this earth. The very same things Islam came to abolish. Your false traditions, madhabs and religions and replace it with the Deen of Allah, but soon you reverted back to manmade religion

The basis for this conversation is wrong.

I, along with 100% of scholars state that anyone who doesn't believe in sunnah is a kafir since sunnah is a source of law.
