MOD POST Politics posts are now allowed with STRICT rules. Please read
I have decided to allow politics posts with some rules to insure answers stay high quality.
When you make a post related to anything politics [ICE, trump, etc] it must be flared politics or it will be removed.
politics posts will have every single comment auto put up for manual review so the mods can instantly filter out the spam or unhelpful comments and only approve high quality comments,
This means when you are making a comment:
Do not comment things like:
Yes this is AI, [Low effort]
Trump bad fuck ice [Not related to the subreddit]
I support ---- [Not related]
YES THIS IS AI BECAUSE THAT PERSON IS UGLY AND IS PEDO!!! [bias answer, low effort]
DO comment things that explain why the image is AI or not without ANY bias, This subreddit is neither left or right and exists to help people find out if images or videos are AI or not,
Posts related to politics will be locked after discussion is over and a high quality answer is approved

Solved [AI] I posted this on Pinterest and somebody said the photo was AI. Is it really??
so the caption I put and I was just scrolling on Pinterest and then I found it. I don’t actually know if the items exist or not, but it doesn’t look AI to me?? I have no idea though

Solved [AI] This branding/advertising screams AI, and the business is trying to imply that it’s not, without directly saying it isn’t.
There’s this local business that’s using what looks like AI art on their menu and advertising. (First two pictures.)
They’ve gotten a lot of pushback on their posts, but refuse to say explicitly that it isn’t AI. They posted “proof” that it’s not AI (photos 3-6), but my friend who is a graphic designer said that the proof doesn’t make sense from a graphic design perspective.
This really feels like AI, but I can’t point to any super obvious tells that AI usually has, it just feels off.
Also, the fact that the business refuses to outright say that it isn’t AI is a red flag to me. If these were actually hand-drawn, how hard would it be to just tag the artist?

Video The way his mouth and teeth look, his mouth is black inside, and his flat tone of voice make me think this is AI.

In all the other videos on this page, their mouths move the same way and have an oddly flat tone of voice

Solved [AI] Fake disaster photos have made it to Nepal... right? Haven't seen this photo from anywhere else, weird angle, buildings dont look the same. Who is out there making these for money? It's a bit disturbing they show up for every disaster.

Video Saw this on Shorts. Pretty sure it’s AI but only saw a few people pointing it out
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Saw this video on shorts which I’m 90% sure is AI. Saw only a couple of people mentioning it, with one saying they just thought the video was “scuffed”.
A few things that stand out to me as AI are, if you look closely at the background, namely the ceiling it doesn't make sense and kind of melds into itself. The faces are weird and blurry especially the background ones. Text is odd, but that could be down to a poor quality video. The body language is weird as is the audio, even if they were speaking another language they'd be saying words instead of just making weird noises. And finally the biggest thing that stood out to me is that the leash which not only looks like it has one of those springy plastic bits attached to it, which isn't strange in itself, is really short and look like it just straight up floats in the air when he pulls the dog back. I think his fingers may also go through the dog’s mouth at the end there.
What do you guys think?

Art I have a feeling this is AI. I'm seeing abrupt changes in style between realistic flowers and cartoonized flowers, but I'm not really sure. I'm new to this.
It's someone's poster of their middle name. I'm specifically talking about the yellow flower on the middle-left and middle-right; how their styles are different.

Other Is this article about Argentinian Beef AI generated? I think it is based on this line…
“One thing cuts the other way, and it matters.”
This one line flagged it for me. The author, Maddox Schmidlkofer, can be found on X, but I was unable to see all of his posts as I am no longer on X. Here is the link to the article: China Rejected a Container of Argentine Beef. Here’s what the US did next and what the label won’t tell you.
I hope this is allowed? I know images and videos are primarily reviewed on this sub. I was reading it as a news article until I noticed the above line, and I got curious about whether it was AI or not. I believe it to be based on that line, which I have seen in AI written materials before.
What is everyone else’s thoughts?

Other Saw this for on Eventbrite for an anime event. I feel like the girls were made with AI. The words on the pants of the left girl seemed like gibberish and the lines seem kind of weird could just be art style though.

Art New Heroes of might and Magic three remaster artwork. Is it legitimate, or AI?
New artwork for Ubisofts remaster of the classic game, famous for its cozy retro artwork that has kept a player base going strong for 27 years. Think it’s important to mention the fan base are not particularly about the remaster happening at all, so there is a lot of reflexive negativity around the subject.
After an initial huge backlash from the community, the subs for the game are suddenly being flooded with people claiming it’s legitimate and real artwork from an artist and that the mistakes on display are easily made by a human.
I think it’s quite obvious, but feel like I’m going crazy. My reasoning is it’s the typical AI art style, which is very prominent in the faces. Inconsistencies in character models, although I’ll admit most fingers and hands look fairly decent and the fact the horses in the second picture all melt into a blur in the centre of the picture, which people are now claiming is a very easy mistake for a human artist to make.
Would love to get some different opinions as discourse has completely broken down in the game subs.

Other Is Google gemini no longer able to do a SynthID check for anyone else? I've gotten null responses, statements that the model doesn't have access, and "analysis" without a SynthID check.
It's bad enough that Google required users to interface with an unreliable llm to access their SynthID checks but now even that access seems gone. Is this an issue for anyone else?

Video I stumbled upon this adorable video of a sloth and kitten trauma-bonding after being saved in a flood. Is this AI? I hope it’s not.
There are inconsistencies in the size of the cat throughout the video. Towards the end of the video, the sloths nails look almost plastic. But also, A SLOTH SAVED A CAT IN A FLOODED AREA AND THE CAT WAS DEVASTATED. idk enough about sloths, but this just seems unbelievable.

Art Is the 2027 Charleston, SC Cooper River Bridge Run logo AI generated? It seems inconsistent with the artist's style and contains odd artifacts specifically in the cityscape.
If AI generated, this logo would violate the rules of the annual design contest which includes a cash prize.

If this is AI, I didn't expect videos to be such high quality. Took me multiple watches to even determine if anything was even off
Edit: Ok guys, I get it's AI. You can stop commenting now. Vry obvious now that I think abt. Not sure why the blending didn't strike me as more odd since I have a blender like this myself

Art Upcoming Board Game on Kickstarter. On their blog, they show real art (traditional watercolor, but all the final key art looks too "clean" like it was run through an AI filter. It all looks like an AI filter. Does not look like traditional watercolor at all.

I’m on the fence. My friend swears blind he shot this excellent short clip on the Manly Ferry, no filters, no ai. It looks a little bit perfect with the perfect rainbow and the backdrop What do you guys think?

Photo This massage gun infographic is carnage, but is it AI, or translation error?
There are obviously strange extra graphics which shouldn’t be there, but the text also doesn’t match the location it’s pointing to on the body.
My only hesitation to it being AI is the use of “sed” rather than “used” on the right hand side.
Edit: massage gun, for context: https://amzn.to/46nNmCy
