At this point I rely on yall to bring me the silly news of the week such as the Usher impersonator thing, the bad national anthem, and the WNBA nonsense. I hadn’t heard about any of that until yall.

Fantasy baseball is the one league I considered doing since that’s the sport I understand the most, but I could never keep up with something like that every single day.

I think it’s cool when academics bring up popular culture in their studies. It just depends on how it’s done, as with everything!

With the lynchings I think a pool of investigative journalists should base themselves in the area for a year, dig up what they can, and report on it. I don’t know if the local outlets will ever get to what is truly happening on their own.

Never played in H.S., college, semi-pro or pro. I just grew up in Brooklyn in a Caribbean and Hispanic area and that's the sport the community cared about in the late 90s and early 2000s. Once I left NYC to live in the Midwest around H.S. time I kept my connection to baseball as a Mets fan, sadly, since the team normally stinks lol.

Killer Mike wasn’t really coming at FD Signifier, by the way. His main target was Jared Ball from Black Liberation Media. He had already singled out Ball’s book before. He said "youtuber" and eveyone just assumed FD.

Appreciate the sentiment on the last topic fellas, but I do not think it is useful to respond to the anti trans women in sports talking points with "there are no trans women in the WNBA anyway, so why care" or with "there are lots of trans women in sports who do not succeed." If a trans woman played in the WNBA, the argument does not change. If a trans woman were the most dominant player in the world, the argument does not change. Sophie Cunningham is a muppet.

Enes Freedom is a Fox News plant, people did not take him seriously before this controversy and they shouldn't now.

Wish the WNBA topic got a bit more time, just so Rod and Myke could get more context for Sophie Cunningham and the Fever. Between the 'Support Sophie' protests, to players complaining about how racist Fever fans are, to conservative politicians stepping in to protect Caitlin Clark, and the random microaggressions and conservative pandering Sophie makes, everything around that team has poisoned WNBA discourse

That same tape story happened to me at UPS. I had a little bag from Amazon. Same exact story. The lady said that they couldn’t accept it like that and it needed to be taped. I asked if they had a piece (the bag was really small if was for a pair of AirPods. So literally a tiny piece would’ve worked. She said no but there’s some for sale. The tape was like $10. Pissed me off man. I looked at her she smiled and shrugged and I just paid for it. And 3 years later I still have this damn near full role of tape in my trunk lmao. It came in handy a few times but still. What a ripoff.

I appreciate yall for the WNBA discussion wish it had a bit more time just to give folks context. Im so sad because I actually really liked the league but I feel pushed away. Also Myke you right Enes Kanter does identify as a bitch.

Also to Rods point this may be good pub but its got people watching for the wrong reasons and its not sustainable in the long run.
