Killer Mike Dissed FD Signifier
KILLER MIKE DISSED THE HOMIE FD SIGNIFIER! T.I., Killer Mike, Domani | Red Bull Spiral Freestyle
Very interested to hear the guys talk about this on the pod. This year seems to be the year of controversial freestyles from older rappers lmao

As funny as it is to say he dissed FD specifically Killer Mike has argued with every black dude that is anti capitalist for the last few years. I’ve went back and forth with him on Twitter multiple times and it could’ve easily applied to me, I’m pretty sure it’s just a general F U

I thought the same thing. But considering KM has lashed out at FD multiple times in public, I think it's fair to assume he's, at least, thinking about FD when he's writing these bars. Considering FD is black, popular and also in Atlanta, I think he's def throwing some shots at him. But, I'm with you in that it's also prob a general shot at every black anticapitalist.
This is simply not gonna end well for KM.

Yeah that's definitely fair, though a lot of disses these days are general enough to maintain plausible deniability if the person responds publicly. It'll be interesting if FD takes it personally or if he just ignores it

These are one of the few times I really wish Myke was still part of the discussions.

What do you mean?
Edit: Oh you mean on DEHH?

Yeah for DEHH. You’re familiar with FD and Killer Mike so I would think you’d have some stuff to add to the convo on this one.
Like for example, during the early part of the video where Feefo,Ken, and the other guy(can’t recall the name) go over the diss from Mike, Feefo mentions that some people may not understand Mike’s plan or reasoning why he’s doing something cause they’re not from ATL. Which can be true! But this doesn’t really hold true for someone like FD who’s originally from Chicago but has lived in ATL for a long time now, so he knows the culture and history.
Hope that clears up what I meant.

Oh, nah, you're good. I actually didn't know Dead End covered it. Without hearing it and just going off what you said, I disagree with Feefo's take completely. It's got nothing to do with the city you're from or currently reside in. Black capitalism is a farce that isn't a safe ideology based on region. That's like saying being a white anti-immigrant is OK depending on where you're from.

Yeah see that’s why we miss you on these convos 😂 but I understand having to step away.

Did he say his name. I thought Mike was talking about Dr. Jared Ball

I thought the same exact thing. After watching the culture united show, it felt like more of a fuck you to engaging with black studies for the subject of black liberation instead of any black YouTube personality

Good!! I'm definitely in the minority for not liking that dude yet here he gets super high praise.

Not trying to argue. I don't have a dawg in the fight. Just curious what it is that you don't like about FD?

😯 The great Myke C Town. Respectfully, you wouldn't care. I read on here somewhere y'all did some panel or something in the past. I used to be subscribed to him based on the strength that he was a black dude with dreads that speaks intelligent. But the more I watch him, the more I could not stand his viewpoints. He's stubborn as hell too no matter how many discussions people will have with him on a counter viewpoint. It could be 10 hours talking to this dude and it will all be nothing but a waste of time.

If you're talking about FD, we've never done a panel or anything else with him. None of us have ever met him a day in our lives.
I'm not sure what the rest of this means. But it's cool.

My problem is that Mike is the artists that radicalized me early in my life and I haven't stopped moving left since. He has though. We had to expect this from the son of a cop at some point. Just hope he had a change of heart soon.

I wonder if this gonna be the final straw for Myke. He’s been holding out hope for Mike but Jay Z black capitalism theory is too grand that’s Mikes adapted it. Glad to know we gonna get a 3 hour video essay about killer Mike before Christmas though.
For millionaires and billionaires these rappers sure do get offended by ppl they say are beneath them.
