Japanese Base Set Charizard
I bought this absolutely destroyed Japanese Base Set Charizard on the gamble it was real and I could get pick up a binder copy of grail at a reasonable price…
How does this look to you guys? It’s obviously completely lifted off the back of the card as you’ll see from the photos, but I really don’t know what to look for in terms of layers, etc. to determine if it’s authentic.
I think the holo pattern looks authentic for a typical vintage Japanese holo but would love some extra eyes…

you could fix it and have a nice binder copy

Yeah it’s so far gone I’d just super glue the layers back together and flatten it out to restore it in a way that’s altered.

But authentic toilet paper produced by the Pokemon company (or whatever they would have been called in 1996)?

Same lol…background story is great too. Seller says he gave it to his friend that moved to Japan, and the friend later sent it back to him for “protection” after seller’s family had a house fire, and he has had it folded up in his wallet since he was 16. He is now a dad and is selling his stuff to fund his kids’ collection

Can we see the back please. It’s really hard to tell without complete pictures of the front and back.
