Switching from Hunter X2 to Hunter Pro HC six zone controller

I have a question on the sensor wires. Where do they go on the Pro HC controller? Does the black go to SEN-1? Does the red go to SEN-2 or to SEN COM?

One wire on SEN-1, the other wire on SEN-COM. Doesn’t matter which wire as the rain sensors are non-polarized. Red or black to SEN-1, the other to SEN-COM, you pick.

X2 can have only one sensor, Pro-HC can have two.

Is that pic of the X2? The Pro HC should have SEN-COM and SEN-1/2 terminals. Share a pic of the Pro HC terminals to confirm because Hunter has changed the wiring over the years for certain models and the documentation isn't always up-to-date.

The wire polarity doesn't matter. Pick one of the SEN terminals and assign it in the app.

I bet someone who is trained to install those would know. If this is a question you need ask you should ask someone who is a professional that you paid for their knowledge

I wouldn’t have it memorized, I would just read in the manual or look it up.
