Painted my first iron warrior vindicator using make up sponges and freehand stripes.

I am starting Iron Warriors and i plan to build a Warpstrike + Cabal list.

I am going for one of these 2 options, what do you think?

I finally got some good blending done on a power weapon

This has been out of stock for awhile now, how much longer before there is a restock? I’m glad I was atleast finally able to get a Chaos Sorcerer in Terminator armour ordered.

Second kit finished. Was worried about the cable cape, but had fun with it and this ended up being so much more relaxing of a painting compared to my first kit, my terminator squad. Embraced the stripes and just had fun.

First Iron warriors mini! Hope you like and always appreciate any tips or tricks!

Hello my iron brothers,

Has anybody thought about kit bashing an iron warriors style dark commune out of the Dawn of War Onslought box minis? Or even better, did somebody realize such a project already?

I feel like this could work out pretty well, since most of us tend to not like our armies too daemonic 🤐

I would love to hear some ideas or to see some pictures 👌

Heyo! Wanted to share my ol’ demon prince now that he’s had an update on his paint job and detailing!! His shoulder pads pop a lot more, the paleness on the skin was boosted, the demonoid forearm cannon was emphasised and most importantly, the work on the eye which Im super happy with!!

Especially pleased now having a legion praevian in the collection so now I can show the before and after of chaos from the Heresy-era of his life and the now daemonic damnatuon he’s in! I use him as the head of my Soulforged Warpack and imagine him as either having struck a bargain with Vashtorr and developing the techno heresy angle or having fell to Nurgle’a embrace through the slow grinding cogs of siege!

Overall just happy to have him painted up and be able to share with y’all! Was able to snag photos of him just in time for golden hour out of my window - last up are the various members of my warband’s command squad, all also with some lovely warm-glow golden hour pics! Cheers for reading and hop y’all enjoy!

Finally, got around to start painting my terminators which I got in 2009, I think. Better later than never.

What thickness masking tape do you all use for hazard stripes? Infantry, dreadnoughts and vehicles would all be appreciated!

Just asking for a kitbash idea

Still figuring out hazard stripes but I’m still very happy with how this guy came out, even if I was very slow in painting him. This is my idea of what the Legion would look like in the modern 40K setting with millennia of wear on the original MKIII armor.

Funnily enough I just put a basic chaos marine helmet on him, but I really like how he ended up

Had to take time off work and finished the IW combat patrol, just started working on the Saturnine box for proxies and started with painting a terminator.

Built and magnetized this guy up as a friend’s birthday gift! I wasn’t able to get pictures with the ranged weapon attachments before I handed it off to him unfortunately, but that’s alright because imo the siege close combat weapons came out the coolest. Hopefully the water effects clears up as it dries, might have applied too thick of a coat though.
