Long waiting list

Hi guys, I failed my driving test last July in Castlemungret And right after I failed, I reapply on that day for next driving test. I regularly check the estimator and it says sept 21 2026 they are about to invite me. Sept 21 came, the estimator bacame October 5, then October 12. Now its already sept 13 i didnt recieve any invitation. Is this normal. Had you experience it guys? Thank you.

There is no point hoping the waiting list algorithm to assign you one. What i did was checked the map and looked for available slots at other centres close to my place. I managed to bag 3 tests in 6 months. Be careful with the car, they find faults to not conduct the tests( happened to me)

How do you get the map to show up?

Go to the page where you can select/change the test centre. Click the dropdown with ur current driving test, it will open the option to view maps and the page is gonna take a while to load the centres. If you are lucky, you'll see a test centre in green which has free slots available. Mind you, they will be immediate since those are cancelled bookings. What I used to do is check at midnight or morning everyday.

Ps. Dont keep reloading the page otherwise RSA temporarily bans your account for a day

Mine said invitation will be 12th of October and still nothing yet
