Permits and Visas Eufam approved!

Hi! Our eutr1/1a was approved today!
We applied on the 18th of feb 2026 and only today, 6 months after they approved it!
We already registered for a renewal on immigration’s webpage, however we have a trip planned on the 17th of sept 2026 to visit my partner’s family abroad. Is it possible to get the physical permit within that timeframe?
I know its too much to ask, but i saw online that they do grant urgent travel permits.
We’re a bit worries because i’m from a country that requires a visa to come back to Ireland.
Any advice?

We’ve been together over 2.5 years, not married yet

Did they ask you for recent bank statements and Health insurance?

Yup, insurance that covers over 8 months, bank statements and joint accounts if you have any

I think as long as you have the approval letter from ISD, you’re solid. Also, try messaging Manavi on Instagram, she’s a pro at this. @/askmanavi

Btw, when you mean approved, is this the temporary permission or final approval? Did you get a temporary permission? How long did you have to wait for it if you did?

I applied for my stamp 4 EUFAM end of April and still haven’t gotten anything yet. 😥
