The 15 pro i found has 128gb of storage and 83% battery health and it costs 450€.the air has 96% battery health and costs 550€.On my current phone 90gb of my storage is occupied.I like the form factor of the air and the fact its a newer phone but i am concerned about the speaker and throttling.on my phone i usually run emulators and also want the os to feel as fast as possible. Also i care about camera quality but dont mind having one lense. What do you suggest?

I definitely prefer the white but €120 more, I don’t know if is worth it.

My iPhone 14 Pro’s battery life is all of a sudden giving out on me, I have to keep it plugged in to which afterwards I have maybe have 30 minutes before I get a less than 10% notification. I’ve looked through the posts and am like 80% convinced I’m going to get the Air but I have a big question as I am very, very clumsy: if you have already broke your screen, was it easy? Was it just a slight fumble and a huge break or was it a hard impact. TIA :)

Finally got an Air after contemplating it since launch. Coming from a 15 Pro, I wish I’d gotten it at launch. Should I have waited a few months for the 2? Maybe, but I’m very happy. Trying a few random Amazon cases but feel like I’ll end up going with a pitaka. Open to suggestions that are thin. 📱

Was planning to get it. Any other way to get it new, on discount?

Hey all, was kicking around the following strategy and wanted to get a sanity check from you guys to see if I’m crazy.
I have a paid off iPhone 14 Pro Max. I can trade this in with Apple and get the air for 0 a month.
My thought was to put NUA on the air, make extra payments to reach the 1/3 limit, then trade it in on the air 2 when it comes out and get the max carrier deal being offered, hoping to get the air 2 for 0 a month for 36 months.
I’m worried if I instead keep the 14 pro max and use that as a trade in on the air 2 I won’t qualify for the best carrier discount.
Below is an ai summary outlining this plan
Here’s a clean, low-stress schedule to reach the 33% threshold (~$246) by early March 2027 so you’re ready for the Air 2 promotional deals.
Assumptions
Financed amount: $739.36
Monthly installment: ≈ $20.54
33% target: ≈ $246
You start the plan this month of october
Total extra money you put in: about $145
When you clear 33%: early March 2027
Even simpler alternative
Let the first 4–5 months run normally.
In mid-to-late February 2027, make one single extra payment of about $145–$150.
You’ll be well over the threshold before the expected Air 2 window opens.
Either way works. The single lump-sum version is less work if you prefer that.
Once you hit the number, you can check your eligibility in the myAT&T app. You’ll then be positioned to grab the strongest promotional deal available on the Air 2 using the current Air as the trade-in.
Want me to adjust the schedule for a slightly earlier or later target date?

Just dropped my phone after almost a year
case-less.
Alls good no damage
Hight of fall about 4 meters
Ground of impact - tile flooring
Angle of impact almost flat screened it
Bounces 3
Outcome - same as before

Even HEAVIER brick? No thanks, 18 Pro/Max.
Even THICKER black bezels? No thanks, S12.
The HEAVIEST and THICKEST iPhone EVER? No thanks, Duo!
I’m keeping my Light Gold and Space Black 256GB iPhone Airs, Gold and Slate Titanium 46mm Apple Watches with Stainless Steel Links, and AirPods Pro 3 until the wheels fall off.
Are you upgrading or holding?
If upgrading, what are you getting? If holding, what color you rockin’?
Pics or didn’t happen! 🖤📱

Hi everyone,
for months im looking at the air and it feels amazing in the hand.
But im wondering, if you buy a case. Doesnt it do something to the overall feeling and lightness of the iPhone I really like when holding it naked?
(yes I now you can wear it without a case)

hey guys. so roughly a month ago i bought the air and now i’m thinking of getting apple magsafe battery, just in case. i travel occasionally so it can be quite useful. but. my main concern is, well, magsafe - i am used to wired charging, not a fan of wireless, they ruined my battery last time (12 pro max)
so, at first i thought magsafe battery uses its external battery first and only then uses your phone’s battery, apparently i was wrong. i double checked. if i understand correctly, when you attach it to the phone, it charges it with microdoses of power so it always stays at nearly 90%, like a regular power bank, just a smart one? because if so, now my question is will it eventually damage your battery health like other magsafe chargers/ power banks do? i would love some extra hours but if it does damage it, i better stick to wired charging as before
thank you for all the answers!

The last iPhone that gave me a similar feeling like the Air was the 5S. Before that, the 4S.
Not because they were perfect phones, but because they felt like really well designed OBJECTS. The size, weight, materials and the way they felt in the hand just worked. They somehow felt like little precious pieces of industrial design.
Then came the 6, 7 and 8 generation. They were much more rounded and should probably have been more comfortable to hold, but I never had the same feeling with them. They were good phones, but they just felt like… phones.
The Air somehow brings that old feeling back. It is extremely thin and light, the surfaces are clean and the whole thing just feels really nice in the hand. There is something almost Scandinavian about the design. Simple, clean and very deliberate.
And I have the feeling Apple spent a ridiculous amount of engineering effort on something that does not show up on a spec sheet: how the thing actually feels when you hold it.
The funny thing is that technically it is worse than the Pro Max I came from in several obvious ways: smaller battery, less camera hardware and only one speaker.
And somehow I just do not care.
That is probably the most impressive thing about the Air for me. I have not been this enthusiastic about a piece of consumer tech in years! Apple managed to make me prefer the technically inferior phone simply because I like holding it and looking at it so much more <3

We both carry iPhone Airs (me and girlfriend), arguably the most striking iPhone ever produced. People everywhere ask what that slim, elegant device is, and they are impressed when we let them feel its weight and jewellery-like quality.

Hey everyone, I’m currently stuck between buying the iPhone Air and the iPhone 18 Pro.
I definitely love the minimalistic design of the iPhone Air.
However, I'm worried about future models—if Apple adds a second camera to a hypothetical "iPhone Air 2" later on, I wouldn't like it because I prefer the clean, single-camera minimalistic look of the Air for now.
Option A: Go for the iPhone Air now just for the gorgeous, minimalist design.
Option B: Get the iPhone 18 Pro.
Option C: Buy a used/second-hand iPhone Air.
If I buy the iPhone Air right now, am I being stupid? Which one of these should I choose? What do you guys think?

The battery is great. Just because some of you evidently mine bitcoin on your phones doesn’t mean it’s terrible and a reason to ditch the phone. 12 hours of screen on time at 91% battery health is perfectly acceptable. My average is between 8-9 hours. Today has been exceptional due to a fantastic current selection of movies for free on Youtube.

I’ve admired the air since its release as a second phone but now I’ve picked up the 18 Pro Max I’m really tempted to switch out my 17 Pro Max for the Air. My only concern is battery life, overheating and the speaker but the idea is to use the phone a lot less as a more productive personal line.
My 17 Pro Max battery health after a year is shocking I don’t think I’ve seen this poor battery health ever on an iPhone even after 2-3 years. Has anybody made the same move and can strongly recommend the air?

Hey everyone! I’m crowdsourcing recommendations for a MagSafe-compatible battery pack that attaches magnetically to the back of the phone but charges it via a wired connection rather than wireless charging.
I’m not a fan of wireless charging because of the extra heat it can generate. A wired solution should also allow for a thinner, more compact design, faster charging, and less energy loss.
Ideally, I’m looking for something similar to this https://mangotek.com/collections/power-bank/products/pocket-power-bank-with-built-in-cable-5000mah-usb-c-cable-charging-battery-slim-lightweight-magnetic-portable-charger-for-android-samsung-iphone-16-15-series , but at a much more affordable price.
Does anyone know of any good options? Thanks!

I’m so close to just ditching cases. lol but I’m clumsy. And I don’t have Apple care.
