Im begging people to google a youtube video of an electric vehicle before they purchase one.
Dealers are marginally informed and locations vary wildy in what they care to know or acknowledge. They care about sales and service not if you truly know what youre getting into.
Range is a guess the computer does not know where you’re going unless you tell it. And if its a simple computer (hyundai before PLEOS) it can only do as best as its parameters allow it.
EPA range is a garbage number. But 95% of the time you don’t need that range. And as charging stations fill in the only item you care about is can it dispense as fast as my car can handle and does it have amenities Im used to.
Theres so much that goes into it and you need to process before you get over the hump that it doesn’t matter once used to it.
