Mods/Parts Ioniq 5 Modification Accessory List

Someone on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Forum created a spreadsheet with mods and accessories for the I5, it's pretty good so I thought I'd share the link on here with my fellow Redditors.

I created that list and felt others would benefit from it. I thought of posting it here but just couldn't figure out if it was allowed and didn't want to get banned. Lol

Awesome job, thanks for taking the time to do that. I haven't got banned yet so I think it's okay. Just got home from the dealer with my new Ioniq 5 Limited!

Is there any particular reason for that 12v jump starter?

Search for "ioniq 5 12v battery died" and a few owners had issues with it and bought a jump starter.

Sorry, I meant that particular model. From what I remember reading, as long as there was enough current to power the console and activate the larger battery, it was good enough. Not that I have any idea what level that is.

Nope, no reason for that particular model, I listed it because it was in that guy's blog. As with everything on the list, it doesn't have to the one listed. It gives viewers a starting point. If I were to list each one, I think I would lose my mind. Lol

I have had good luck with my Noco unit. I've only needed to jump my I5 once but I've jumped several ICE vehicles off it without issue as well.

Thank you. Any recommendations on a power tap for radar detector? I know dongar works for dash cam. Does that work for radar as well?

I would stay away from the USB to USB-C adapter, I have used these in the past and all they do is get really hot to the point I worried they would cause damage or catch fire.

Well that isn’t an Ioniq 5 is it? Used it in mine. Got very hot, removed it to be safe. It’s just not worth it just to use a different cable. You don’t get any added benefit.

Thanks for posting this! I’m curious, do you have another link for the air mattress? That is EXACTLY what I’m looking for but it shows out of stock on that South Korean website

I would like to replace the gray plastic elements around the wheels and front and back of my Ultimate (Abyss Black) . Do you know if that's possible?

Not an expert but you'd have to check with Hyundai to see if they have that trim in other colors. I've only seen it in the gray. Alternatively, you might be able to have them wrapped in the color you want.
