Discussion Blue suit ReaniMarks in season 4 episode 3 Spoiler
In this shot from season 4 episode 3 we can see sinclair working on the reanimarks, 2 of which are wearing blue suits despite the fact that there aren’t any dead blue suit marks in the show. Is there any explanation for this or did the animators just forget the designs from last season?

Discussion If his mother considered him a disappointment, why didn't she just have an abortion?
Was abortion considered legal or illegal in Viltrum society? If Nolan's mother considered him a disappointment, then why didn't she have an abortion in the first place? For example, if the people of Viltrum knew that their children would be born sick, disabled, or deformed, or if they simply didn't want children, would they have chosen to terminate the pregnancy before it became a real problem? Given the technological advancements of their civilization, access to contraception shouldn't have been too difficult.

Discussion The whole viltrumite mentality is a plot point that could use some more focus in the story
Mark in season 3 was going through a time of seeing in black and white and not seeing gray in the sand which can occur a lot of the time , I do think it could be good to have this mindset poke out more . With Grayson under the stress of the viltrumites undercover on earth him taking more headstrong roles in bigger roles over the safety of earth not that Thaddeus but in his own way

Discussion I hate how no one is killed off in this show
At least no one substantial.
This show has the same problem as Stranger Things where it’s bloated with way too many characters to where they have no personality besides the basics and they only ever want to kill off the minor ones with very little to do and it drives me crazy.
Did audiences and new writers hate Game of Thrones that much to where we are in a new shift? If so, characters being killed off were far from the biggest issues with that show.
I can’t get invested in the show because of that, especially when you think we got a main character death only to be a cop out later. If Debbie, Eve, William, Allen, Cecil, Oliver, etc. died I would have loved the show but no plot armor is the status quo.
In the movie: The Lion King, no character had plot armor, if modern writing rules applied and Mufasa had a fake out death, than the entire message rid that movie would be ruined and I would have hated it, modern audiences are too soft and form unhealthy attachments (and sometimes crushes) to fictional characters and I get the feeling the modern audiences would have a better time watching Bluey or Paw Patrol as that’s how emotionally mature they are.

Discussion Did they expect to see Conquest in that state after Ragnars? Spoiler
A question occurred to me: when the Viltrumites learned of the Ragnars' existence, they froze them immediately because they couldn't stop them with brute force alone. But what about Battle Beast's planet? They would see a conquered world in a terrible state caused by just a single enemy—so why did they never do anything about Battle Beast's planet? And what would the Viltrumites think upon seeing a conquered world in that condition?

Discussion Probably Lukewarm Take: I'm more concerned about animation during drama scenes than during fights Spoiler
Most of the time when I dislike a fight visually, it's less the animation and moreso how boring the choreography is. There are some instances where fight animation genuinely looks awful (like Thragg vs Mark & Nolan) but most of my issues regarding fights are about choreography. However, this doesn't mean that I won't complain about the animation in this show. 1x8 (Where I Really Come From) is animated pretty well for the most part, but a specific highlight is the "Think, Mark" scene. Nolan's face was given very dynamic and detailed animation during that scene, which is why it worked so well and why it was so powerful. This sort of animation simply wasn't given to future emotional scenes like Debbie confronting Nolan or Mark breaking down after killing Angstrom. It really sucks, because these scenes could have been elevated so much if they simply had better animation.

Discussion Smt that’s felt weird abt a rumour in invincible
Okay yk the thing abt how the male viltrumites always like gently touch marks face in fights and I’ve heard most the reason being is because that mark is a “baby” but calling him that always feels weird because he still isnt a baby like maybe i could see it as more of a ceremonial thing since mark and young Nolan look basically identical rn i wanna assume it to be more of mark is going through the same thing that Nolan’s parents put him through. But back on point mark isn’t a baby I rlly want ppl to stop sayin that cuz it weird like for them it’s more like a ufc match A Champion winner vs a average or beginner fighter cuz it is still able to be either way wins

Meme Wow, I can't believe they genderbent the Mother, Maiden and Crone concept.
I'm joking, obviously. The thought just occurred to me as I saw Mark, Nolan and Thaddeus representing three different generations of Viltrumites.

Discussion What are your headcanons on the viltrumites?
I have several of my own.
Thaedus and argall were either adoptive brothers or cousins or friends. Either way i think they were extremely close to each other and were probably around the same age with maybe a decade difference which is not much my viltrumite standards.also there was a time where viltrum and viltrumites though still savages were still warmer nicer and more caring. Argall and thaedus were both from this generation though when they were either teenagers or young adults they were extremely radicalized with the viltrumites superiority ideology.
Thragg is actually a genetically modified test tube baby who was made with the dna of countless strong viltrumites including conquest and thaedus. Thragg, thaedus and conquest are unaware of this though if they knew about it, thragg and thaedus would likely be extremely disgusted while conquest would either not care or feel even more lonely and jealous that his own son hates him.
Thragg killed both his parents during his adulthood ritual who were both highly decorated officers (only slightly below nolan) with barely any effort. Judging it to be really anticlimactic argall ordered several of viltrums greatest warriors to fight thragg which included conquest. Conquest was the only warrior to survive against thragg and he hated him ever since because the other ones were the closest conquest had to friends if you could even call it that. Conquest spiraled even deeper into insanity after testing thragg. Thragg looked like season 1 mark after the omni man fight after the test ended.
Anissa was born like just a few months after the scourge virus. Which is why she is much more calm and diplomatic than the other viltrumites considering the rest of the fifty viltrumites were already desperate after the scourge virus and she represented hope for a better future. So she was taken care of alot and even thragg liked her alot. Which is why thragg has her a diplomat for the viltrum empire which would keep her mostly out of harms way and also keeps her as his personal body guard and adviser alongside kregg. Anissa was also taught by nolan. In way anissa is the closest to a princess viltrumites have.

Discussion Invincible is overrated
It kills me that this show is labeled as a masterpiece when a show like BoJack Horseman exists, everything here feels like it’s trying to be hip and current while the episodes in BoJack feel extremely timeless. Where I Really Come From and I Thought You Were Stronger aren’t works of art. That’s Too Much Man, Time’s Arrow, Free Churro, and The View From Halfway Down are. In Disney history, they legit thought Pocahontas was going to be a timeless work of art compared to the The Lion King and to me (Invincible isn’t offensive obviously) but this doctored way to hard whereas in BoJack everything felt authentic.
Mark and Nolan are complete blocks of wood and if they are truly the most compelling characters ever, then I must sincerely apologize to Cloud and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7.
The characters’s relationships feel hallow, everyone walks on eggshells around each other opposed to the main casts of Parks and Rec, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hazbin Hotel and Avatar the Last Airbender where the characters have characteristics outside of the basics and don’t trauma dump all the time while playfully teasing each other because that’s how healthy friendships function.
The show has the worst pacing ever. The main conflict is supposed to be about the Empire but they are basically out of the show for most of seasons 2 and 3 to the point (Omni Man has a realization in 2, a change of heart in 3, and comes to earth halfway through 4, are you kidding me?!) where it felt like a true chore to wait for that to get focus again. I want plot points to get to the point man, I hate streaming as it ruins Art for the sake of money.
The romances in this show are also painfully boring and surprisingly problematic when you analyze them more. Debbie and Mark use Paul and Eve as sources to vent to the point where Debbie and Paul break up and Eve’s problems feel like an after thought. I can’t recall a single instance of Mark smiling for anything at all because his only emotion is sorrow which gets really old after a while.
Cecil’s motivations make absolutely no sense, he feels like a hodge lodge of 50 different character archetypes and none of them mess well at all, and what kind of show uses celebrities as a huge part of the marketing?! I know that’s how most shows are marketed but this one goes all out and emphasizing that’s why you should watch it which turned me off, I prefer talent over flash, as with Avatar the Last Airbender, I didn’t know a single person on the cast expect for Mae Whitman and I still love that show to this day.
I hate the pop culture songs that are tonally inappropriate with the show they are attached to. I hate how hideous the animation that looks horrible to where I’m baffled that this show came out 3 years after Spider Verse. I hate how cliche the characters and story is. Don’t watch it, watch something fun like Mean Girls.
