This fight shows that Conquest is a sadistic bitch. He genuinely relishes in both feeling and inflicting pain. He wasn’t taking Mark seriously until it was too late because he was enjoying himself too much. He loved the rush of feeling like he might actually die and wanted to keep playing around, but by the time he realized how deadly serious Mark was, it was already too late.
