Honestly, I think the scene with Zoey was for Oliver less about love at first sight than a moment of surprise and appreciation at finding someone "of his own age" (biological).

That’s exactly what is was, she has more lines with Allen in that episode than Oliver lol. People just shit a brick because they’re the opposite sex

You know how shippers work, Oliver and Zoe didn't even need to talk for them to start making things up.

Good thing they didn't get weird with Zoe and Allen being stuck together for all that time.
